For the people that can't read german, the OP is actually correct ..... its saying Froch has a back injury and the fight is postponed.

Seems like a rather small article but RTL is generally pretty accurate.

"Der Engländer sagte den Kampf wegen Rückenproblemen überraschend ab. Der Kampf wird auf jeden Fall in Monaco nachgeholt."

The Englishman has canceled the fight surprisingly due to back problems, the fight will be held in Monaco at a later date.

On the other hand, I'm starting to believe that there are major things going on behind closed doors. Of the many possibilities, one is Showtime simply rescheduling the SFs to a later date, maybe a co-event, or according to the contract, forcing it to be in the US. Or Frochie maybe thinks or knows this whole tournament is over, and is rather looking to go straight for a world title.

I don't ****ing like this. Whatever the truth is, Froch just gave Ward the backdoor to get out of the Super Six, as with the amount of injured fighters, it cannot possibly go through, therefore Showtime can hardly use legal force.
