I think it's time for the Peterson brothers to replace their mentor, and coach MR Hunter, he's just not as effective in the pros as he was in the Amateurs

The Peterson Brothers still make Amateur mistakes that hunter hasn't fixed in over 30 fights for Anthony. for starters notice how Anthony yells with each punch, thats some **** you do in the Amateurs, but in the Pros people time those noises

Look How rios times Anthony's last punch in is combination just by listing to the noise he makes, Rios knows when to let his hook go. Also all that noise just zaps energy from you. I also thought Anthony's speed was superior to Rios, but he never really used it.

I did'nt like Hunters game plan for Lamont's last fight, and Anthony's fight, and if they don't upgrade their corner they will never reach their full potential. Not to give any excuse cause rios, and bradley where better fighters by far. The hard thing is how do you tell a man that been training you since 10 and is a father figure that you need to move on?

    sorry for any errors smartphone

It was perfectly timed. Juan Diaz did the same thing as well

Then marquez dissected him, I remember that clearly from there first fight

I think Victor Ortiz was in the habit of doing that as well

Damn ! I really liked the look of the Petersons bros. when they first came on the scene ( particularly Anthony ) but you have a point, they dont seem to have progressed much in the last few years. I hope they can get themselves right...and soon.

You are right on. Both brothers have displayed tremendous skills and potential. The only thing keeping them back is their trainer, and it's a hard relationship to redefine at this point. Perhaps, too late to change their trainer and styles.

Me too! I agree with DC on this. They need to take their careers to the next level by getting some new eyes, ears and focus in there QUICK. They aren't old but the longer they stick to what they are doing they won't shed those bad AM mistakes. Great talent....great ability but needs a change in their corner.

No doubt , not bad losses so far but its clear they've peaked as far as their current set up is concerned.

    gorgeous left

i don't think you can put lamont and anthony in the same boat, lamont tried to take bradley to war, bradley realized he couldn't win the fight that way, and switched up his style and outboxed lamont... anthony did the exact opposite and would've gotten brutally ko'ed

    Very good call.

Im surprised in some cases it didn't happen sooner. 30 pro fights, or in Juan's cases he already had trinkets before someone caught on.

I have to agree w/ you here. f they don't change some things up they will be treading water. My problem w/ the Peterson/Rios fight was Peterson should have been trying to out box Rios & use his speed to get out of the way of his punches. He fought in close & didn't have any power to hurt the more sturdy Rios. Hope they both bonce back. They have a great story & potential.

Peterson fought a dumb ass fight trying to go toe to toe with a guy who outweighed you by 11 pounds instead of boxing. He got what he deserved ****ing idiot.

Great shot, nice timing! Man, Rios just had no respect for Petersons punching power.
