I think the Mormeck win is the best on Haye's resume after Ruiz, but I think Wlad's significantly better and more proven than the Frenchman.

Why do you rate Mormeck so highly?

Mormeck nearly took Haye out.

Wlad is bigger stronger more powerful and just all around better.

Emanuel Steward says that Wlad punches harder than Lennox Lewis.

If thats the case Haye is getting knocked out quite easy.

Haye is just not as durable as the Sam Peters of this world or even the Chagevs.

Haye was scared to stand and trade with that useless oaf Valuev.

Ruiz and Holyfield and Chagev had no problems standing toe to toe with Valuev.

Haye really is a fragile type of fighter.

 

To be honest the more i watch Wlad fight, the more i think Haye should stay well clear of him.

Wlad has this ability to turn any fight, his way. He dictates everything, the pace, the mentality of the fight, everything. Peter is'nt exactly the greatest heavyweight but he sure is'nt no mug, he'd be a handful for Haye in my opinion and Wlad beat him down.

As somebody states above, Ruiz's jab was giving Haye hell in their fight and Wlad's is much better than Hayes. Haye was caught quite a bit by Barrett and Ruiz in the fight's and i think if Wlad had the same opening's as they did, he'd finish Haye off.

Will Haye fight Wlad before he retires? Who know's, but i guarentee Wlad stopping Haye will be the outcome if they ever fought

 

No he didn't. He knocked him down and Haye kept away.

No he wouldn't. Haye's explosive enough and fast enough to negate anything Peter could do.

 

Haye is quite a limited fighter (in world class terms) with a poor work rate.

Against the egg chinned Maccarinellis of this world - Haye looks amazing.

But if he cannot take a guy out early - and the fight strecthes a good few rounds - like the Ruiz fight - you see Haye is certainly no Roy Jones Jnr.

He werent doing much with Ruiz for alot of them rounds - while Ruiz just plugged forward in his limited come forawrd style.

There is no question - Roy Jones at heavyweight would have outboxed Haye for a comfortable UNA decsion - or even a stoppage.

 

He knocked him down and Haye was on ***** street.

Anyway - forget about Mormeck.

"Cant break a egg" - Frogemeneni - had Haye out on his feet - staring at defeat.

 

Yet his speed did'nt really relegate anything Ruiz was doing. Fair enough Haye beat Ruiz, but if Peter was catching Haye with some of the shot's Ruiz was, i know what'd happen

And ***** street would be if Haye was falling all over the place and failing to block punches. He was neither of those things. And he knocked Mormeck right out. Fragommeni too.

 

Ruiz is faster and better than any version of Peter. He's more skilled, more effective and more accomplished.

Peter is awful lets be honest. If he didn't have any power he would be absolutely useless, he'd be lucky to be top 50. That pretty much says it all for his skillset. Rarely have I seen somebody so leaden footed and slow fisted. He makes Froch look like Willie Pep.

He was nothing but a heavy bag Saturday night.

 

The John Ruiz fight made one thing very clear about David Haye.............................

He is no-where near as fast as he thinks he is - not in world class terms.
