Roberto Duran´s squads while skipping were very impressive. More than what those two guys here did.

Sonny Liston performed with the rope on the Ed Sullivan way back when he was champion..I remember watching with my dad, who was saying "that big sob could bounce like that all night long".

Yes, i've seen some of his workouts on TV. Yet when I youtube searched, I couldn't find any of Durans rope skipping. he was the one who I was thinking of when I started this thread/.

From what I've seen, either SRR or Duran.

Ray Robinson jumping rope was as graceful and ENTERTAINING as it gets..
Furthermore there is no phase in boxing that he coudn't do with more "class" than anyone else...He was the Fred Astaire of rope jumping....And Boxing...

Duran used to skip rope on his haunches which i tried to do (when i was in my teens and fit) and its one of the most difficult things ive tried. Think i lasted about 30 secs max before giving up and doing it normally.
SRR was brilliant too. Very graceful to watch

When SRL hosted "The Contender" he was about 50 years old, and still pretty damn impressive.
