Wlad's chin softness is a bloody myth

Has he ever been sparked out, I mean 100% out cold starched like RJJ vs Johnson or Tarver? No.

Come to think of only one man has genuinely knocked him down through to a TKO: Sanders. Purity and Brewster simply beat him while he was exhausted and he fell down - there is a world of difference between falling down through exhaustion and battering and being sparked the **** out like Lewis was; twice.

Wlad has never been hit flush and KO'd. Never. No man has done that to him.

More to the point Sanders has freakish power and he had to really hammer Wlad with combos to even make him go down but every time Wlad went down he got up again!!!

People that say Wlad has a soft chin are just haters or people who've never seen him fight that's the bottom line and nothing anyone tells me will change that fact so live with it.

He has been KTFO three times, compare his chin to his brothers and you will see Wlad's is ****.

It's good to see you have the intelligence to differentiate between exhaustion and being sparked the **** out cold.

    Oh wait......

With Sanders the problem was that Wlad didn't see the punches coming - at all. He didn't even spar with a southpaw for the fight.

I think a lot of it was mental. Look at Wlad and look at Vitali. They both have similar builds. In fact, Wlad is more strongly built than his brother. There is no reason why one guy would have a great chin and the other guy would have a chin chin other than the mental discrepancy. In his early days, Wlad panicked when he guy hit square an this panic caused him to make incredibly bad decisions. When he guy hurt against Sanders, he did not have the presence of mind to tie his opponent up or even to move. Wlad is a different fighter now. He no longer makes dumb decisions when he gets tag, which is increasinly rare.

Corrie Sanders had unusual power, partly generated by very fast hands. He remains atop the list of underachieving heavyweights. In the fight against Wladimir, they exchanged bombs for two minutes before Wlad went down for the first time, and he looked to be lying unconscious; I have no idea how he got up and continued fighting. Sanders came the closest to putting Vitali down, and it was from a short left hook with only a few seconds left in the second round.
Wlad has been hit flush a few, very few times in his last few fights, but has barely blinked. He is doing his best to erase the humiliating spectacles of his three losses (plus the Williamson debacle), but some won't let it go no matter who he beats.

OK, maybe saying KTFO is a bit brash, but there are many fighters with worse stamina than Wlad who have not been knocked out like he has. Corrie Sanders hit Vitaly with everything he had, and he stayed on his feet. Regardless of whether Wlad was exhausted, a fighter with a better chin would not have been knocked out against fighters like Brewster and a bum like Puritty. What you are neglecting is the fact that Wlad was knocked down 3 times against Peter, as early as the 5th round - surely you cannot credit exhaustion for those knockdowns. What about getting knocked down early by DaVarryl Williamson? That was not because of exhaustion. Getting knocked down in the first by Steve Pannel, another bum. Surely if his chin was so strong he would not have had trouble against such limited fighters?

He's been down, what, 13 times in his career? Yes, he always gets up, but he doesn't have a good chin.
