I think it was 11 times, but half of those were either rabbit punches (Peter) or him just falling over from exhaustion (Puritty, Brewster).

    Peter x3
    Brewster
    Sanders x4
    Purrity
    Pannell

And he was put on ***** street by Barrett, and I'm pretty sure he was down a couple times earlier in his career as well.

Well, Vitali obviously has the better chin. But second, and possibly more importantly, he (Vitai) knew exactly what to expect out of Sanders. He knew that Sanders was a four round fighter and all he had to do was move around a bit and not get tagged in the first four rounds. Even so, he wasn't able to do that. Sanders rocked him twice before he lost his wind.

More importantly Wlad's staggering number of KD is a testament to his ability to - GET UP!

Vitaly probably wasn't a great comparison

It doesn't change the fact that Wlad was knocked out by lesser fighters, and knocked down by even worse one's. I'm not trying to disrespect Wlad, he is a quality champion who know's how to win fights with the tool's he has available. I'm just saying that his chin is not great, and he is always at risk of being knocked out - how can that be disputed.

Wlad has never been knocked the **** out as in knocked down & not beaten the count. He's only lost by TKO

Of course Wlad has a terrible chin. He has absolutely no confidence in it, which is why he refuses to throw uppercuts when the opportunity presents itself, rarely goes to the body, and basically designed his entire style around protecting his chin. He even strategizes by picking opponents who have no chance of hitting him, while Vitali takes on real threats. Take Briggs for example.

you guys are measuring chin on the criteria of spark out cold KO's?

    thats ****ing stupid.

getting repeatedly ****ing stunned and KD can also be an indication of a **** chin.

 I have admitted that the above post was a bit brash and poor thought, however as I have mentioned, Wlad has a very vulnerable chin and has been put down numerous times. He does recover fast, but that is no substitute for a weak chin, although fast recovery has helped him.

Did you even see Wladimir vs. Barrett? Monte was down 5 times and a bloody mess when it was stopped. Wlad did not get knocked down in that fight.

quit the bull****, everytime vlad gets hit with a good **** he goes down like a pissed up chicken. its an irrefutable fact so stop being in denial about it, just be content that vlad is currently the number 1 heavyweight in the world instead of tryin to defend the indefensible.

I don't think his chin is that bad, not granite either but it isn't pure glass like Tommy Morrison's, Roy Jones Jr's or David Haye's.

I think Wlad's and Haye's chins are on a similar level
