Sorry I should add, it also depends what weight he comes in at as well. If he comes in purposefully heavy to gain unfair advantage again then Mayweather can kiss my left one. No more ***** moves thanks Floyd.
I have Floyd top 35 at the moment and Pac a clear cut top 20 for me, possibly top 15. Pac beating Floyd puts him the top 10, Floyd beating Pac puts him clear top 20 with a case of top 15 if he were to stay undefeated.
I am quite aware of the great fairytale MANNY PAQUIAO and all the foolishness that it entails and all of the hurt and anguish it will cause to many later but thats neither here nor there. I still feel neither can break top 10. Thats just the pessimist in me. If Floyd hands Manny a defeat under drug testing I really feel Manny will be written off and his whole career will be questioned . Floyd loses he just gets Roy Jonesed Jr. Never fought nobody etc. Both are polor opposites that cancel eachother out(kinda like nite and day) . I can't wait for these 2 to finally meet then we get to see who the true "one" is......
Voted top 20 but i think a top 25 is more like it depending on the fashion he does it... I got floyd as a top 35-40 right now
Pretty much agree with this, though some days I have him as high as 32. SSM and Marquez is still active (though JMM credit is not as much compared to SSM credit).
I think both are ranked around 30 to 40 right now IMO. I think both get ranked around 20 if either man beats the other.
emmanuel is a great fighter, but he's not going to make or break Floyd's resume. There's Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Harry Greb, Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Muhummad Ali, etc to all compete with in the top 10 spots. No one is going to top those guys these days with the way the business of boxing is structured and the skill of the opposition.
Pac beating Floyd is bigger than Floyd beating Pac. Pac is the underdog and has more to gain, most expect Floyd to win - but to be honest I think the clock is ticking on Floyd.
I agree with you generally with this comment but noticed you name the 7 ATG. These 7 ATG is pretty much the top 7 of any decent boxing fan. It is after this 7 where thing get a bit murky. This is why I said Pac might break 8-12. There is still Louis, Langford, Gans and Benny Leonard to consider with your 7. Again, Pac and PBF can crack top 10 just not sure if beating each other is enough. 1 or 2 more great wins (JMW or 2-3 140 pounder).
A win against Pacquiao would maybe...maybe bump him into the top 40. Floyd hasn't fought enough fights, nor has he consistently fought the level of competition that would merit him getting into the upper echelon of the top 100 P4P fighters of all time. Corrales and Hatton were the only two top guys Floyd has beaten that were in their primes when Floyd fought them. To even consider Fraud for anything within the top 30 is an insult to both the history and credibility of the sport.
If this becomes an all-time memorable trilogy, both of them hit at least top 15 regardless of result.
I say top 20 and I think it goes both ways. The winner of the fight would have a very impressive resume with the other mans name to top it off.
