If Adamek fights the fight of his life then he has a chance. He showed against Grant that he can score against opponent with vastly longer reach...but Grant ain't no Klitschko
Adamek gets hit too easily by opponents who aren't as fast as Wlad. I like Adamek, but Wlad would knock him into next year.
After seeing how Adamek struggled with a shot Michael Grant, it's hard to give him much hope against Wlad. Unless Adamek grows half a foot overnight, I don't see how he can be effective against Clinchko. Wlad stops him.
Yes. He ain't that slow and predictable Wlad only lost to punchers and Adamek isn't one of them. I hope that this fight happens and it will be good one.
It'll be a good fight, maybe a little technical at times, but I think the style match-up is favorable.
I don't agree... It will be extremely onesided. But I really like your av, much better than your old one :good
It's the best fight that can be made in the heavyweight division... And it's a total mismatch Saaaaaad
I have to disagree here. I think it's a terrible style clash for Adamek. But I don't think Adamek would look to survive like Ibragimov as he will try to win. However, Adamek is a counter-puncher and that style is not gonna have much success against Wlad because he will never be in range. Same problem Chambers had and the same problem Haye would have. You need to apply constant pressure on Wlad so he can't dictate range and tempo but Adamek cannot do this. Adamek might me able to disrupt Wlad's offensive flow early with movement but he will slow down and as Adamek becomes more stationary, Wlad will take him apart and brutally knock him out mid/late rounds. If Adamek takes this fight, you have to consider him the ballsiest fighter today. How can these hws look at what Wlad did to Peter and Chambers and not say "**** that!"
As much as I like Adamek, I don't think he can beat Wladimir. I think he could outwork Vitali, but with Wladimir I just don't see it. He can't hit him from the outside, cause he won't reach. The second he gets inside he will geat leaned all over and clinched. And Wlad keeps the jab pumping in your face for the full 12 rounds if he has too, and it's a stinging jab. If he can counter Wladimir very effectively then maybe he can get to him a few times. At the same time I havent seen Wladimir fight with a guy with such lateral movement like Adamek. Most of his guys stand in front of him, so maybe this will look a bit different. But I just don't see anybody beating Wladimir who either isnt a Mike Tyson like fighter, or somebody who is bigger, or at least has longer or similar reach to Wladimir himself who can get to him that way. His tactic of jabing, and straight punches from the outside, then holding and leaning the second his opponent steps in while somewhat lame, and boring, is very effective.
I believe that Adamek is fighting Maddalone in December and is aiming in Wlad for March :think :deal Overall would be easily the toughest fight for Adamek. He was underdog in many fights, but in that one he would be a heavy underdog. However Adamek loves to proves boxing fans wrong Mind says Klitschko by wide decision or KO, but faith says "wait until it happens" :smoke
