Why waste time rematching Limond? Morales should work his way towards getting a top fight at 135 or 140 before he get's too old. I think he would be a handful for anyone even at his deteriorated stage

He was actually exchanging rounds with Limmond, Morales is past it. I don't want him to get top fights at 135 or 140 only to lose against guys he's not supposed to lose against.

yes but we know morales usually performs to his opponents standard if he fights tougher opposition he might still have it in him to take it up a notch....we can hope

:think I think he would give Soto or Vazquez tough fights, although I would favour both champions. Morales will always be a threat, but obviously he is not the Morales of a few years ago.

Isn't there a fight on the table for Marquez for next year?

Thought I heard GBP talking about that.

This is risky and utterly stupid. He was getting well and truly outboxed in parts of that fight. Btw - how good is Limond's lateral movement?

Dont know why he would do such a thing.

How many fights does Erik plan on taking.

This realy should be Morales last run at a major title.

Hope he doesn't stick around to long.

    War Morales!:bbbwhile he's still here.

    Great fighter.

**** limond if he's hoping to get a title fight at 135 against marquez soto or even vasquez early next year then he should schedule his next fight for 138 to see if he can get down near the lightweight limit no point in keep fighting in the 140's

juan manuel will stop him, other fighters his age and older can still fight good.but erik has been in to many wars to have anything left.i think his best days are far behind him.if he fought manuel i think he would get stoped at some point in the fight.

he should be at 135, he does not like to be in great shape at 140. i think he should get it together or leave it alone.

    don't think so.

Even at this age, Morales is more than Juan Diaz.

I hope her retires, or does the Mexican Bum Circuit to make some cash, either way I don't care, as long as he doesn't fight anyone in the top 20 who will actually hurt him.

I'm cool if he just wants to fight a bum-of-the-month club member and make some cash. He deserves it... but what we don't want to see is him get killed by a top guy.
