this fight goes to the cards. no way Khan puts Maidana away in 5, or 12 for that matter. Khan should put his dick back in his pants and do what he's good at...box and win lopsided on points. You don't have to go out like a warrior every time out and lose, you can go out like a fighter sometimes and just win.

To be fair, he's probably great not just as a Boxer but as a relentless attacker, but it's just his fooking chin.

Khan will not be trading with Maidana, it would be stupidity. Roach's plan for this fight will be almost exactly the same as the Kotelnik fight

Khan gets the greatest sleep a fighter can get. No way he lasts a whole fight without getting hit. As soon as Khan gets hit and feels drowsy its over.

This is my problem with it too, the result should be Khan by wide UD, but the problem is I can't see him lasting 12 rounds without getting KO'd once maidana connects

Roach and Khan obviously know something we don't know. Roach is a great matchmaker and wouldn't take the risk if they didn't think they could win it.

They'll know their job. I actually think Khan's resilience has improved. He has physically matured but only time will tell.

Either way, improved or not, Maidana has the power to drop anyone at any given time. A shame Khan WON'T get the credit he deserves for this fight when he comes out of it.

Make sure your around boxing4eva. You'll see the type of excuses that'll come into play after the fight.

But what's to say Khan can't stop Maidana?

I have no doubt Roach will have a foolproof plan to win it. Using his speed to get a points decision and come out with a clean face. That's why they are confident they can win it.

I Just think Khan is not capable of carrying out what Roach asks of him for 12 rounds without losing that concentration.

Well, I suppose it depends on the fight. If Khan barely gets touched, all you'll hear is "blah blah his story is boring, its the only way to protect his china chin, he'll still get KO'd once someone connects"

For me, I have already made up most of my opinion of what we'll get from Khan from watching the Malignaggi fight, but if he beats Maidana he's definatly with Bradley as the best in the division

He did that already in the Kotelnik fight.

Well no, he won the fight. But at times he strayed from what Roach wanted. In a fight against a puncher like Maidana that could cost him

Yeah if he strays from it for even a few seconds it'll be lights out for Amir...interesting fight if it ever happens.

Speed will be Maidana's undoing. This guy CAN NOT handle speed. The jab will seriously frustrate him and I see Khan dropping him multiple times with right hands that he'll never see. Khan will set up everything behind the jab. Khan can be as repetitive in his moves as he wants and Maidana still won't know what to do.

But at the same time Khan could also be dropped many times which makes it very very interesting.

khan is the bigger draw in england and will bring in bigger money, not maidana. 60/40 would have been more fair. Maidana has to prove it first.
