I don't have any new thoughts. Any of the big meaty shots that Peter took on Saturday night will flatten Haye. To really create a Pizza face, Wlad is going to have to reduce his power, even his Jab will bust Haye quick.
Hmmmm... it's hard to assess Wlad right now. His division is incredibly weak, but he has sought out the best guys around. The problem is that he did lose to Brewster and Purity. You can't delete them because he gassed. He gassed because of his opponents. But, it's been so long since then, no one can say he's weak or unproven since. He hammered Chris Byrd (more impressive than against Peter either time), he knocked the stuffing out of Ray Austin, and he did a great job on the ghost of Rahman and the average Chambers. But, it's hard to get excited by a guy with so many advantages and the ability to KO pretty much everyone he fights, who's more content to get a decision.
Since Haye pulled out of the fight last year, when I was saying it was more or less an even fight, I'd honestly say Wladimirs stock has gone up and Hayes' has gone down. I didn't think Haye looked all that good against Valuev or Ruiz, whereas Wladimir looked extremely dominant and pretty much unstoppable against Chagaev, Chambers and Peter, which I'd call fairly better competition. I'd reckon Klitschko KO's Haye in a few rounds now.
Only Chagaev could be argued to be better. Ruiz and Valuev were more proven against better opposition. Chagaev... well, really his best win is against Valuev too. And Matt Skelton.
True, but look at Lennox' record when he was 34 like Wlad is now and make a list of the HOF opponents he beat and count the defining wins. Same result. Judge Wlad a few years after his career is over. With a little luck he can still box another 2-3+ years and make 1-2 big fights that could potentially enhance his resume (or completely derail it).
Ruiz was cooked (not that he was ever that great anyway) and the Valuev fight very close in many people books. Did Haye really do a huge amount more than Holyfield?
I actually think David Haye can beat Wladimir Kiltschko.........seriously. But Audley Harrison is going to beat David Haye on November 13th. Auuuuuuuuuuuuuudley, Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuudley..!!!!!
Thats a fact.haye can talk smack like james toney..but thats the extent of it.He doesnt have the balls to fight EITHER klitschko.:deal
Sam Peter was a stationairy target, David Haye would not be a stationairy target.......and David Haye would be throwing bombs from different angle's. David Haye's output would be low against Wladimir..........that's why i only think he can win by TKO........but it would be interesting while the fight lasted.
:think Lewis must have been around that age when he fought Holyfield? But, even if he wasnt, wins over Golota, Razor Ruddock and Tony Tucker are potentially better than anything already on Wlad's list.
