I commented after Rios last fight that this is like the new generations Bad Blood 2....

The connections are crazy (Rios bring from Oxnard, Ortiz being Goldenboys goldenboy lol)

I do think though that Rios does have a similar style to vargas, before i ever even knew that rios was from oxnard or even knew who he was, i saw him on an all spanish broadcast in the middle of his fight, and within the round i was telling myself this guy reminded me a bit (more then anyone in the game today at least) of Fernando Vargas, then afterwards i saw he was from Oxnard, and under Garcia and co. and it made sense a bit. I actually dont see how anyone cant see the resemblence in the way they fight. Of course they are not carbon copies of eachother, Rios is a bit sloppier at the end of his punch extention, not as polished, good, and less athletic then a prime Vargas imo, but there are some very basic similarities in their technique and style that are hard to miss, at least to me.

Anyways, I really hope, i really, really hope, that Rios can beat Ortiz if they get matched up with one another.

Its too early to say if he has the talent of a prime Nando. But he does not look the least bit sloppy to me. I like both Rios and Ortiz but i think a win for Rios would be better for boxing. For as much as i think Ortiz gets to much slack for the Maidana fight. I do think his name is unfortunately forever tarnished.:verysad

I dont think Rios is especially sloppy, but in comparison to a prime feroz, i dont think he is as 'tight' or as polished with his punches.... sometimes his punches can droop when bringing them back and he can be a bit slower on his releases often times.

I dont particularly dislike Ortiz at all, but naturally, being a fan of Rios, ill be rooting for him to win this pivotal and important fight that an Ortiz showdown would be. I hope they make that fight.... what an electric match it would be, id have to favor Ortiz but id be rooting for Rios all the way.

*I actually just got done viewing Rios vs Teron, and the similarity to vargas's style is without a doubt there. The way he stalks his opponent is very similar to the way Feroz went about his work...

    just IMO

Victor has a problem with the truth. He doesn't want to hear it.

Victor was given a lot of opportunities growing up and people took care of him and he has never acknowledged or been grateful for it. He feels like everyone owes him because he had a tough life as a kid.

    fun, lol?
It'd be a helluva fight to watch! There's nothing better to watch than bad blood between two macho mexicans! Talk about no holds barred between two punchers!
