What do you guys think the odds will end up at?

    10-1 maybe?

In his prime, Tua would have given Wladimir hell. However, at this stage in his career, Wlad will have harder sparring sessions.

    Wlad tko9 Tua

If Wlad fights in december, this would be my favorite options for his opponente:

    1. Adamek
    2. Solis
    3. Toney
    4. Tua
    5. Mormeck

Haye and Povetkin are not included because they duck Wlad.

Why is Wlad giving opportunities to fighters coming off controversial draws when they should of got the lost and not the person who was robbed.

    Tua-Barret
    Toney-Rahman II

Haha would Toney really be that much more competitive than Tua at this point? Same for Barrett, but at least he's hung them up (so he says).

It's going to be like Haye-Valuev. Tua wins on points.

If Barrett can do that well against Tua, Wlad knocks Tua out.

Cmon now, this isn't Tyson-Douglas odds.

I bet it gets somewhere around 15-1.

    Yes, very much.

Well in all seriousness, I still want to see Tua fight but feel like this could really be a sad ending to his career with a reasonable chance of suffering his first KO loss. I also think there's a (very) small chance Tua could win this on points if he managed to hurt Wlad, send him into retreat&coverup mode and then keep the work-rate up. But the more likely outcome is he'll get frustrated by the jab and give up or get pissed off and do something stupid resulting in point deductions/KDs/KO in the later rounds.

He probably would've (controversially) won the fight vs Monte on points if he'd kept his cool down the home straight. I'm not comparing Monte to Wlad by any means, but I wouldn't say it's impossible for Tua to win, even by points, if he can stay focussed.

I want to believe that Tua can win on points or via Tko/Ko, very badly at that. But as you just mentioned, that there is a good chance this could be a sad ending to Tua's career, but at least he will go out going up against the best there is to offer (if he hangs them up after this).

But on the flip side, I like/respect Wlad, but I will be watching supporting Tua.

Out of all this speculation I can gurantee this, if you bet ALL the money you can on Tua, and win, you will have just made yourself a **** load of cash :yep.

Monte Barrett handled and dominated Tua in the clinch. We're talking MONTE BARRETT, not Wladimir.

Come on guys. Tua will just be a heavy bag with eyes in this fight. Wladimir will beat him up and shut him out right up until the stoppage.

Tua is looking to cash in his chips.

Nothing wrong with that. At least he's going out against the best.
