I know what he's going to do: clinch, maul, step around Pascal. Fire short right hands through Pascal leaky defence. Try and wear him down late so he can sweep the last four rounds.

it's the Hopkins Masterclass of **** awful boxing to watch.

Other than the Pavlik fight, he's been a spoiler since he fought Oscar.

Rob, stop following me round with your Boxrec bollocks. Why the **** you're trying to catch me out I don't know, I've been over this **** hundreds of times, you're giving the same kind of reasoning that you moan about other using for Floyd.

The Winky win wasn't great IMO

Calzaghe was a loss on paper

    Taylor fights were close

Trinidad had proven himself as the no.1 contender.

    Now **** off :good

Kool, you're probably right, he'd still be greater than Floyd by a country mile.

I only disagree with that. But judging Hopkins on a few fights at the tail end of his career is ridiculous - which is what Rob's trying to do.

Trinidad was a great win, especially since he was the favourite before Hopkins kicked the **** out of him and ruined him forever.

He was the consummate tactician who fought everyone at his weight class for some insance amount of defences, then beat the best contenders to unify the division.

Mayweather jumps ship as soon as anyone too good's anywhere near him.

Trinidad was a heavy favourite going in.

I scored it 114-113 in favour of Joe; but that fight was sk close you could hardly call it a 'loss' either way IMO, both men showed what they could do, even at an advanced age.

Joe Calzaghe beat Bernard Hopkins plain and simple, outworked him, and landed more punches.

Hopkins faked low blows, so he could get a rest.

Hopkins lost twice to Jermaine Taylor.

It could of went etheir way against Winky Wright aswell...

None. If Hopkins gets stopped its because he's completely shot. There is no way the Hopkins even from a few years ago gets stopped by anybody at light heavy.

Yeah, but Hopkins didn't win the fight FFS.

    Calzaghe did.

    Sounds interesting.

I know you're a Haye...a big fan but come on, you honestly think BHOP/Pascal is more offensive than Haye/Aud?

    Doesn't make sense:huh

I'm not a fan of many fighters - really just Cotto and jmm now. I love boxing generally.

Anyway, I think it's a bad, pointless fight. It will be a spoiling match and everyone will say how crafty Hopkins is when he's just utterly dull now.

And I think Haye's fight will likely end in a highlight reel ko.

You are an idiot. He lost his shot, he needs to wait his turn.
