To the original poster you have to accept that there are some people who are gonna believe that Haye is afraid of the Klits no matter how ludacris it is. They are fans and are looking for anything to try to make the K2 brothers look like boxing legends who nobody wants to get in the ring yet. Although they know that a 50/50 deal was on the table Haye didn't like the way the PPV money was split K2 promotions turned it down. To them it doesn't matter that if K2 takes Hayes PPV spllit that a deal is done all th see is that Haye isn't fighting their guy so he must be afraid.

    very fair points well made.

if boxing and the out of the ring tactics and negotiations wernt like they are, we would have nothing to talk about exept the fights themselves.

i think that all the carry on outside the ring needs to be sorted out for the good of the sport, its like silly school girls sometimes.

No, if he was afriad he would have stayed at CW where he was Undisputed Champ and the competition was weaker.

On a serious note, op, exactly this :deal

What is more, he simply doesn't feel ready (at his best chance to beat them) IMO. He's wants to make as much money as possible, then hopefully Klits will get somewhat older/more beatable as he improves. Everything's ok, but this bragging all along made him look like a *****, sadly.

Haye knew before he stepped into the division he be able to land his hayemakers on anybody he faced but i dont think he figured on people taking them and staying upright. These guys are tougher than he thought.

So now hes not as convinced about decapitatiing the brothers and is treading more carefully, problem being he shot his mouth off big time at the brothers and made promises to boxing fans before he realized any of this.

yeah your right it is ludacris, the klits are certainly not legends, well in my eyes anyway.

fair enough people like them a lot and they are entitled to, but i really cant see why.

haye is far from scared of either brother and i belive that the hayemaker will unify the division, not because he is the greatest heavyweight to grace the division, but because the division is far from competitive, and lacks any sort of edge.

I'll imagine the question was put less childishly and just say I think he doesn't believe he could beat either of them deep down. Remember that when Haye lost to Thompson he was spent, had taken loads of bombs from a puncher and was still waving him on before the towel came in. Haye isn't a fancy Dan. I think he just knows he doesn't have the name or the following to take a loss at the top and keep making the same money he does now.
I don't care for very wealthy fighters putting business before legacy but I'm more inclined to believe that's what's happening than 'fear'

I wasn't trying to say that the Klits aren't legends. I'm just saying that the way the deal went down Haye didn't like the PPV Split he made a counter offer and K2 didn't like that so no need. Now if they were saying Haye is a selfish little child who didn't take the fight because he didn't get his way :bart then they might have a point but by no means does this mean he is scared/ducking  the Klits. Money hungary sure scare no.

The only fear involved is K2's fear of parting company with their beloved tv deal and not getting a slice of the UK PPV pie.

I don't know about "afraid" but I think he's now reluctant to fight them. What's changed, I don't know, maybe he was expecting more a reaction to his antics last year than he's got. I was watching him interviewed with Audley Harrison a few days ago, and when the Klitschkos' are brought up he tries to brush them off with "they're running from me" but he doesn't sound the least bit convincing anymore, like a kid at school saying "I didn't want to play with you anyway" he can say the words but he isn't fooling anyone.

i think that there is something to what you say, lets hope we find out sooner rather than later, because if it is later it will just be comments like....oh wlad was too old and stuff like that, credit were credits due and haye has yet to earn that at HW but i really hope he does.

As you said, it didn't help Chambers to have fought Dimentrenko. Wlad is much, much stronger that Dimentrenko.

When the Klitschkos won't budge on the fact they want to get their hands on as much of the UK tv money as possible (because they know Haye will bring in millions and millions and millions) then it is because Haye is scared and ducking them.

    The logic is flawless.
