He hears it all day long throw his way. YOu can't blame him. He also calls other posters "***S" for the same reason. It's not easy being a "SPUD".

You basically regurgitated what i have said, you obviously have no logical insight or fact to argue against my case.

Manny does box like a few amatuers it is plain to see, the only differenceis he has power speed great stamina and good angles implemented all into one, throw in the southpaw stance and you are less likely to see it.

A fighter having 300 fights against a fighter with hardly any bouts at all does not further argue your point.

You can say that about a good number of professional boxers though...including Mayweather. In fact, Mayweather probably has more of an amateur style than Pacquiao.

I'm confused... Is pac a super human boxer or is he a 1 dimensional joke? You guys need to make up your mind.

Yeah. I think the most successful amateur style (Olympics-World Championship level) is the one that scores a lot of clear 1 shots to the head (easier for judges to score a telling blow) with quick, straight punches. Scoring points for gold medal success.

Power punching and body punching is a bit more of a pro thing.

Which amatuers have the fundamentals and ring IQ of mayweather, it is very possible that some do, but not for one minute are more amatuers fighting similarily to mayweather then pac.

That is not "style" per se.

With Mayweather having a lot more experience at amateur level than Pacquiao, he was always going to have more of an amateur style. But I wouldn't say his style was even close to amateur now, especially his workrate. At Welter, his punches are definitely more crisp, point scoring punches...rather than power shots (although his power was impressive against Mosley).

"Case"? Stop it "SPUD". You actually take youself that seriously? How can you do that without stopping yourself from making yourself look like an *******?

Now Manny boxes "like a few Amatuers"? WHO? You watch AM boxing from what you want to portray and I'm guessing you aren't talking about some old local gym around your way, but on a national and global level right? So who are these "few AM boxers" who have Manny PAC's style "SPUD"?

THere are MANY pro elements to Boxing that are JUST NOT COMMON in the AM's. A pro style in the Amatuer system doesn't translate to a successful pro career. But MOST of the time a SUCCESSFUL AM Style CAN tanslate to a great PRO career IF they have the skills, talent and ability to get the most out of their attributes.

PAC having implemented ANGLES, HEAD and FOOT MOVMENT at this level is on an ELITE PRO LEVEL. NOTHING AMATUER ABOUT IT.

And he's added a lot of different elements to his style simply by being with Roach who helped create the style you are talking about.

So you are telling me that Manny has a AM style that a trainer of Roach's calibre molded for Manny?:rofl

You need a ****in shovle "SPUD"! YOu are diggin yourself a nice hole.

My comment about who would be more schooled, a fighter with 300 AM bouts vs a fighter with 10 was DIRECTLY aimed at your statment where you said "having an amatuer career doesn't mean your more more well schooled vs someone who doesn't".

That didn't furture MY argurement...it smashed yours.
