i think its all to do with money.

if the moneys not right they dont want to know.

its sad but i belive it to be true, if there wasnt as much money in boxing then we would see a lot more great fights, putting up with hand picked instead of the best vs the no1 contenders.

Haye is AFRAID he will lose thus lose any income from more fights as he would lose his title.

Its clear when he said no to 50-50 to take harrison. when the time comes that Haye feels he has enough cash in the bank OR its his last fight...then and ONLY then will he MAYBE fight Wlad...... its to "high risk" for Davey boy at this time

    He isnt afraid of them.

He will beat Wlad when they fight, he will ko him. :bbb

Not sure if Vitali will want to suffer the same fate after he witnesses it so we might not then get to see Haye beat Vitali afterwards, one is better than none though :good

You would have to be an idiot to think he is. The fights will happen next year if the Klitschkos really want them. Witch I think they do. The will come to some sort of an agreement sooner or later.

You delusional Brits... Of course he's afraid to loose. That's why he's waiting. He eventually will want to fight them, but at the very end of his career, financially as secure as possible. It's tactics. You think he's fighting Audley for a CHALLENGE?

This is a good point. :good The Ruiz fight did a number on Haye's confidence, imho. Yes, he won it and won it quie easily. But he had to hit Ruiz with everything but the kitchen sink to get him down...and Ruiz has never had an iron chin.

    welcome to the board.

you've answrered your own question regarding if haye is afraid of the klits (and as much as i hate using that term referring to any boxer i'd use it here).

how many other fighters do you know who embark on a smearing campaign aimed at pissing off another fighter (s) and then pull out of both fights against both brothers?

i think it's pretty clear it was a marketing stunt to generate interest in haye - and it worked.

i don't believe haye can beat either brother as it stands, and apparently neither does he.

I think tht Haye hid the truth and was dishonest really pissed a lot of fans of. There was and incredible amont of misinformation and it was like pulling teeth for us to finally learn that yes, the Klitschko camp had been honest...they did over a 50-50 split. The bone of contention, as many poster speculated, what that Haye wanted to keep 100 percent of his pay per view receipts as he has in each of his heavyweight fights. Personally, I think this is a selfish move designed to intentionally scuttle the negotiations. It means that Wlad does not profit from increase pay per view revenue for unification.

why are you saying if the klits really want them when it's haye who's pulled out twice and made a fight with harrison instead?

the idiot tag is on the wrong foot if you can't see that.

unfortunately some people are like that, agreed.

some, however, eventually learn to see things without rose-tinted glasses.
