    Yes because he likes Shane, everybody likes Shane. At least after a Floyd fight you don't get hurt and Shane can continue fighting. if he fought Manny he would be retired or in hiding like the rest of Manny's victims.
    He won't fight Manny but he will fight a woman sleeping on a couch. Another hand picked opponent. It will end up being cheaper than the 600k he had to pay JMM to wear 17lbs.

    im certain he feels like that, but if he wanted to say goodbye to his fans and have one last fight he could of kept himself in trim after the manny k.o and trained harder than ever before and had a fight with amir khan in manchester if he really felt that way, im sure khan an roach would have took the fight at the time and im sure if ricky doesnt get banned and wants to fight to say goodbye to everyone then thats what he should do, but unfortunaly i cant see it now.......thanks for the memories hitman, good luck with your issues.

    Shane took a very bad prolonged beating in his fight with Floyd. Floyd beat the **** out of him. For the statement that Freddy likes Shane who knows maybe but I don't think that Roach is that emotional. They were a little scared of him after the Margo fight
