I think Ricky was far more devestated by the Pacquiao loss than the Mayweather one. At least in the latter he can take solace in the fact that he gave it his all, and made it very competitive for the first half of the fight. But against Pacquiao, he was brutally beat down and reduced to look like nothing more than drunken bar brawler. I think that really made him realize how far he was from the elite talents.

The "right hook roll under; same move everytime" proclaimation, and then getting knocked down in the first round from that same sequence, I'm sure didn't help Hatton's ego and his sobriety all too much.

It's all bull**** & just a damage limitation exercise as the Hatton clan know that the gravy train is just about to get derailed when the BBBc suspend his fighter & promoters licence as not being fit & proper to represent & promote licenced boxing in the UK.

It's been the biggest open secret for a few years about his boozesubstance abuse as he's always acted like a pig in the trough regarding food/booze/drugs & squeezing the last $$$$$ out of his fan club. Don't waste yer sympathy on this Hatton shower as he's a big boy now & he knew exactly what he was doing as he likes it...........simple as:deal

I wouldn't say the Mayweather defeat was embarrassing and as for the Pacquiao one, so he got battered, he was still fighting one of the best of his era for millions of dollars. Hardly embarrasing is it ?

The lads got a drugs problem, as have a large portion of the british public if you call having a few lines a problem. It's a shame cos along with the ale and the junk food it's stopped him being the maximum fighter he could have been.
The vast majority of fighters would kill for the career he's had.

Well yeah. I would be depressed too if I was knocked out cold by a smaller guy in front of my loyal fans and my family. That was Rick's second chance at a mega fight and he blew it much worse than the first time. Don't know if I would resort to what Hatton chose. Plenty of consolation sex and all the money I've made would've brought me back to a healthy state of mind.

Blame Floyd Sr. That's what you get when you associate your self to a druggie.

The man said he couldn't stop crying after Floyd beat him... He's obviously got some issues.... The Pac KO could easily be the cause...
