Can anyone show me proof of Khan taking a good shot and not being wobbled at least?

Hey if he takes the fight he gets respect. But it's not exactly happened easily has it, and it still isn't signed yet. They tried to low ball him and it now looks like they got scared about the purse bids and are now upping the bid. But remember this very same fight was going to purse bids about a year ago and GBP paid off Maidana and got the purse bid cancelled.

    I see it like NHJ.

If you don't have a chin, you need to have a great defence. Khan has neither, so he's going to struggle.

People can talk about Maidana's issues but those actually work in his favour. He has poor punching technique bit that's an asset. Khan is a straight up boxer and he'll outbox good fighters but he has the type of skills, which don't adapt well against awkwardness. I think the best comparison I can see, is Mayorga/Forrest. Forrest was also straight up, like Khan, but struggled with the unorthodox style of Mayorga.

Maidana is essentially a slugger and he'll struggle. If he had a chin, he'd win easily, but the fact is, he doesn't and he will get hit because his style has disadvantages against Maidana's style.

The only way he wins, in my view, is if he gets an early stoppage or his chin issues were hugely exaggerated by draining to 135. Since moving up, he's not been hurt but he's not faced a puncher, so we don't know yet.

    I'd predict a Maidana knockout.

6 Monstrous shots? Come on let's not exaggerate. I've seen the replay more than 10 times and I had trouble seeing monstrous shots. Yes the finish was big, but the shot that had Khan jelly-legged and down was a left-hook that took me 10 replays to even see land (Quality on video wasn't stellar).

I actually think Khan moving up has probably slightly improved his punch resistance. Just based on common sense of not having to drain as much. Still, he's very thin-legged and tall for a 140 pounder and the punchers are going to be bigger in the division which might spell more trouble. Time will tell.

Yah, that was pathetic. I think MAB still did wobble him towards the end of one round in that fight too. :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

When I watched that I didn't understand what he meant by that. I was thinking "Why is taking a shot a good thing? :huh" Then I realised about his chin

But that was a stupid quote. I mean seriously, they think the chin is made of paper.

I believe you are speculating that Khan will be caught flush by a Maidana power shot. You're also speculating that Khan won't be able to KO him first.

Obviously Khan has no punch resistance at all. That's just a fact. But he's massively improved his fighting style since he's been with roach. He hits and moves now. He has vastly superior footwork to Maidana and much faster hands. I think he's the favourite in this fight. Paulie got to Khan but Paulie is much faster, more skilled and generally slicker than Maidana. He just has zero power.

Anyways, it should be a good fight. I guess we'll find out soon who's right!

If Roach didn't have confidence in Khan, they wouldn't want this match up. If Khan loses, it's curtains for his career.

I don't like you because you but hug Khan all day and do not follow the sport like a real man you only know about Khan because he sports your flag on his shorts nothing to do with boxing. Your a glory supporter who has no right to call himself a boxing fan. I never said that comment funny how you left out where I explained myself in your sig and not been banned and wont be banned for it so give up the chase. You justified it by saying its racist if a british white man calls it you it is racist as you 'see' it as racist. It is not like the c or n word it is abour origins.
