    Pacquiao, clearly.

Mayweather has been all over the place from single shots from Corley and Mosley.

Pacquiao has not been hurt by a single shot to anywhere near the same extent. The only time he has been wobbled in the last few years has been in the second Marquez fight, but even then he recovered immediately, he did not need to hold on like a starving orphan like Floyd has done.

Watch round 7 of Morales-Pac 1. Pac has proven he can consistently eat shots from a strong puncher. Floyd has not proved this, all he has proved is that he can be put in dire trouble from single shots.

  2. Popkins,

Is that the official poster for Pacquiao-Margarito?

You think the shot in the second round of Pac-Marquez was harder than the two Mosley caught Mayweather with? :huh

I actually just re-watched the Cotto fight today, and Cotto didn't "stun" Pacquiao a single time. Caught him with some hard shots, yes, but Pacquiao was never stunned, i.e., temporarily force to cover up and go defensive due to a hard shot landing.

  5. What a performance.

That fight is still incredible to watch.

I'll have to rewatch Cotto - Pacquaio then.

Yes, it is. Pacquiao's skillset is still incredibly underrated.

  8. Pacquiao got tagged hard when he came off the ropes and lost his balance slightly. Wouldn't qualify it was a stun job, though.

A 130lbs Marquez hit very hard at superfeather vs other superfeathers.

A 147lbs Mosley hit very hard at welter vs other welters.

All in all, I'd say Mosley probably hit harder at his weight, but there's not all that much in it (Marquez clearly carried his power to 135, whereas Mosley has not really carried his to 154 whenever he has fought there, so although I give SSM the edge here there's not all that much in it).

Nevertheless, Pac has been hit cleanly more often than Floyd because he is a far less safety-cautious fighter, and his chin and punch resistance have been astounding as he has climbed the weights. Floyd was badly hurt by Mosley, and this was a poorer version of Mosley than the Mosley who failed to really hurt Cotto or Forrest at welter. Pac has eaten the best shots of guys like Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Hatton and Cotto, all at very good weights for these guys, and has emerged totally unscathed.

His chin credentials are undoubtedly superior to a guy who was given spaghetti legs by DeMarcus Corley. Corley ain't hurting Pacquiao in a month of Sundays.

As if he would hit floyd by only throwed 3 punches a rounds

    Punch stats

    2 punches landed 36 thrown.

    6% connect ratio.

he would be considered shot to hell the second the fight is over.

but i'm afraid of the outcome of this fight.... i mean, margarito is, im sure a hard puncher, plaster or with no plaster... he just needs to iron out his performance... in two months time, we'll never know...:think

 If he managed to survive Shane then I'll go with yes. Now you've got me thinking though that would be a hell of a boring fight.

Yeah I only watched it the once live. But the part I remember was from round 3 where Cotto appears to catch Pacquaio at the 1:45 mark and Pacquaio sort of retreats. But watching that part over again a few times I don't think he was stunned at all.

What a round by the way.

Oh yeah...that was in the third round. It was hard to see at the HBO angle, but in this video, you can clearly see Pacquiao pause just a smidge from that overhand left from Cotto at 1:28 of the video. Or maybe this isn't what you were talking about. In any case, here it is...
