it's not about hitting floyd or what... it's about who's got the strongest chin... if it was floyd 's chin right there... would he survive? :bbb

His ability to will through shots and pretend he wasn't hurt is impressive.

Yes, Clottey isn't a huge puncher.

His chin credentials are definitely better. I just think the same 2 punches from Mosley at least drops Manny. I think they'd do the the same damage and he wouldn't know how to survive like Floyd did.

Glad you backed up your statement with a real argument tho! :good

Yeah, must be that A-side meth, Leon. But assuming you're being serious, nobody can "pretend" they aren't hurt. The legs tell the tale, my friend.

I think Cotto was hurting him, he just knew not to show any fear or signs of pain. He's got that warrior mentality and knows he'd jump all over someone if he thought they were hurt. Cotto's power made him think though. Looks like after he got hit he had to reset and get back to the gameplan... That's the smart way to fight in my opinion anyways though....

i guess, let's just say, 50/50 i mean, out of 35 wins, he got 20 KO, then that's not bad... that muscle means something... and those KO i guess are accumulated punches...

Hurt in the "damn, that punch hurt" sense, not in the legs quivering, about to go down sense.

Yes, emmanuel has some of the best legs in the sport of boxing, yes homo. That's why Morales and Marquez were wise to sock that ***** hard in the body.

Pound for pound Pac has the best chin in the sport.

At WW it's hard to say. Still edge to Pac but not by much. I think Floyd has a very very good chin.

Clearly Pac. IMO a guys willingness to trade is reflection of his chin.

For years RJJ played safety first, we found out later why. Wlad tends to keep away from his opponents. Amir Khan has adapted a high guard in and out style being careful not to trade.

Then you have guys like Ali, guys who are hard to hit and if they wanted to, could play it safe all night and not get hit. However Ali was confident in his chin and was not afraid to go to war.

Floyd was afraid to finish off JMM ffs. The few times Floyd has gotten caught with a good punch, he showed signs.

IMO, p4p, Pac takes clean punches like the one PBF took all the time, he simply shrugs them off.

As for Mosley vs JMM. Sure Mosley hits harder but its all relevant, Pac was a FW when he got hit by a FW puncher. Plus Mosley hit Floyd with 1 shot and Floyd was wobbled for the rest of the round, Pac was caught with a 3 punch combination with a big left hook catching him mid air.

I think the last time Ive seen Pac really hurt is the Larios fight.
