i think it was because he felt BHop was getting too old and Toney was caught using steroids Some of Toney's best wins, at CW and at HW before his injury, were under Roach.
after the second sam peter fight roach told toney he thinks toney should retire, toney told him to go **** himself and left... after the calzaghe fight bhop asked roach to train him for pavlik but roach refused because he thought hopkins was finished and pavlik would be too young and strong for him.
