floyd gets outperformed each time vs common opponents

    Damn. ESB used to be an AWESOME website for the Hardcore Boxing Fan. Now it's just a breeding ground for people who would rather create posts and threads about a fighter they hate, rather than talk about the Sport they claim to Love!!! If anyone knows of another Boxing site where "True" fans intelligently discuss fighters (both Pro and Amatuer), fights, events, training, rankings, articles...etc. Instead of EMOTIONALLY BASED, yet FACTUALLY INACCURATE posts and threads about a fighter they hate , please pm me.

    alright lets talk about it

    floyd became 'saftey first' in welter weight

    he used to be known as a great offensive fighter with an impecable defence plus somewhat of a ko artist

    but you wouldnt know that because it happened before 2008


    also youve forgot to mention that in all those fights he took far less punches than common opponents meaning defensively he outperformed these common opponents .

    Also have you seen the gatti fight? that was the most one sided beatdown in gattis carrer , plus floyd was at a new weightclass

    pleeease!...floyd at 140 aint ****!...he aint **** at 147 or 140...gattti is a not so good fighter RIP to him but he was never that good ,everyone knew floyd was gonna massacre gati , and he did'nt beat him like he did, he wold've been criticized more....gatti aint **** (RIP to him) but it is what it is!

    A bit biased.

    He dominated Corrales in a similar manner to Castillo Coralles 2 but you have to take into account Castillo Coralles 1 and also the fact that Castillo was above weight limit for the rematch. And Casa struggled against Coralles each time and lost once.

    Also didnt mention Marquez, he did better than Pac against him.

    actually not ignored your post!.....its just you acted as if floyd has the best resume all division long,that is why i respnded with facts!...remeber, it does'nt matter what it was for, what matters is who you took the title from.....dont even mention the names of floyd beat at 140 or 147, there are boxing fans here for cryin out loud!....lol

    pretty fair post right here..........i did'nt include marquez as a floyd win that no other opponenet to jmm has done because we all know it was a joke of a match up to begin with........a ww vs a jr lw, cmon man!
