Well, what exactly are you trying to say here? What's the problem with either fight?

Then can you tell me how does a fighter with poor performances (Clottey and Pacquiao) get rewarded with a Title Shot in another Division?

Clottey is getting a title shot in another division? far as I know his last shot was against Pac. And that most definitely will be his last shot after that one.

Pacquiao getting a shot at a JrMW belt has a few things to consider, mainly that it's the WBC who has several gimmes installed as number 1 contenders. Pac has held a couple WBC belts already and they love having him as a champion since he's the #1/2 biggest name in the sport. Of course they'll give him a shot at one of their vacant titles. Marg I believe is already their number 1 ranked guy when they gave him one of their International titles. The international WBC belt guy usually gets #1 contendership. Silver titles not withstanding.

I think the biggest problem at issue here is the Sanctioning bodies can give a shot to pretty much whoever the **** they please, especially if the promoters put a bug in their ear and offer a big enough fee. It's just another example of why there needs to be a main governing body. There's not really a point in wondering too much about it, man.

Mora is a potential banana skin for Mosley IMO, particularly if he does not get him out of there early, or by the mid rounds.

More has a way of using lots of feints, dictating the tempo, making you dance to his tune.

He was trying to say Cotto was "rewarded" with a title shot after poor performances against Pacquiao and Clottey. The way he wrote it kinda threw me off at first as well.

To be fair, Foreman's leg could have been in great shape and he still would have gotten his ass kicked by Cotto...

Seioursly SPUD? You think that Top Rank bribes officals and sanctioning bodies? If you think that of Top Rank and excluded any of the other promotional companies that make up this sport I have to ask you why? With the short amount of time Golden Boy Promotions have been on the scence they've already had thier NY licence suspended and they've got a SWEETHEART deal with boxings leading Network...HBO.

Shane and Cotto were two of the TOP Welters in the game....they are also two of the BIGGER names in the sport. The fact they have a good promoter only helps them in their careers.

Josh had a terrible performance but I don't see him getting a title shot in anther division. PAC had an incredible performance given the circustances and when you're a fighter of Manny's stature when one door closes (FLOYD)...anther one opens (MARG in a title fight).

The man earned his spot...he deserves opportunities. It won't mean much b/c let's face it...Marg's NOT a realy Jr MW and it's a vacant title...at a catch weight. It's his NEXT fight that will solidfy his status as an acting Jr MW or a LEGIT Jr MW.

not true. Mosley had Clottey and Paul Williams in negotiations but Mosley elected to wait Floyd out for bigger money. Mosley Promoters have to care he owns part of the company.
Clottey was upset because mosley just left negotiations and his mind was somewhere else. He didnt want to fight Clottey he wanted to Fight Floyd

Actually, Ross Greenberg said the big three draws were Mayweather, Pacquiao and Mosley.

That's PPV though, and Cotto definetly draws more to his shows.

    Why not?

Mosley's fight with Mora is no big deal and a decent come-back fight. Mosley just wants to stay active and even though he lost badly to Mayweather he still did very good in that 2nd round.

Cotto moves up in weight and tries his luck there, not many thought he would beat Foreman(I didn't expect him to win it at least) so he proved he's worth it and is now defending his title against tomato can Jr.

If Cotto was black and Mosley was not, this guy would say

So Cotto and Mosley are beaten by the TOP 2 P4P Fighters in the World...

...Yet Cotto has to move up in weight against an undefeated champion while Mosley takes on a past it Mora on PPV.
