This is why Hatton didn't deserve any fans whatsoever.

Do you think people re-mortgaged their house for that fight? If Hatton knew he was going to lose than he wouldnt have taken the fight. The amount of arguments you could come up with for hating Hatton and this is what you come up with?

    Nice one:lol:

Like the fact you can't stop replying after saying you couldn't be bothered to. :deal

I think a lot of working class whites from Manchester put large amounts of cash on Hatton based on his confidence and statements. Many live on the breadline and lack the education required to live without help from the state and tend to flutter away their money without thinking about consequences.

Hatton should have known better. Those people have drink and drug problems - just like him.

Do you think Hatton would have said that if he actually knew he was going to lose? Not his fault some people are idiots. When people put large amounts of money on Lewis vs McCall and Rahman and Lewis lost, did you blame Lewis because he thought he was going to win. Just because Hatton said something about how people should re-mortgage their house(figure of speech, never heard of the phrase ''id bet my house on...?) doesnt mean he's a wanker.

But he knew he was far from 100%. Hatton is a role model with a responsibility and knew better.

Would Hatton, or any fighter at that level, have fought if he knew he was going to lose? Many fighters with fans lose fights they thought they would win.

Dude I didn't take it literally. I just feel sorry for the fans that did.

Here's Hatton admitting he had camp trouble:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8463032.stm

"those behind the scenes who saw what went on in the training camp."

Saying what he said knowing that? What a joker.

Boxers should appreciate their fans not take them for granted. They're human beings in position of influence and should know better. None of you would be defending him if he said something racist (ala Floyd re: Manny) but encouraging people to waste money is good?

Of course it wasn't taken literally but he was encouraging people to bet as much as they can with his seemingly confident statement.

I won't be feeling sorry for him any time soon.

To reach that stage I simply lol'd at a funny picture.

    It was funny too.

I thought about making it AIDS related, or mention the immortal Bob Ross but it didn't happen.

Do you want to know what did happen??

    This ":rofl"

    I don't regret a damn thing. :bart
