I think a lot of working class whites from Manchester put large amounts of cash on Hatton based on his confidence and statements. Many live on the breadline and lack the education required to live without help from the state and tend to flutter away their money without thinking about consequences.

Do you think Hatton would have said that if he actually knew he was going to lose? Not his fault some people are idiots. When people put large amounts of money on Lewis vs McCall and Rahman and Lewis lost, did you blame Lewis because he thought he was going to win.
