Khan has been talking to the media about fighting Maidana for several days. You've got to be a complete idiot to think he doesn't want this fight.

Lazarus... can you give me an objective assessment of Khan as a fighter?

Btw, no way will the same Maidana who fought Corley show up. I think Maidana will be a lot more prepared and i think this will be a good fight.

All this Amir Con stuff is a bit ridiculous, prior to Malignaggi perhaps you could say he'd never fought anyone etc, was completely untested. However Malignaggi is pretty proven at world level, so we know Amir Khan is world level in terms of talent. That much is a fact. Anyone disputing it is either mentally challenged or allowing some kind of hatred to cloud their judgement.

What is unknown is how much further can he go.. will be one of those who hang around at world level, do a few good fights but ultimately no-one really ever remembers them except when they are viewing the resumes of someone who became a great fighter that beat them.

I hope it is signed and sorted soon. There is no other fight on the horizon that i'm looking forward to more

Yeah if Khan beats Maidana for me he becomes the No.1 140 fighter for the moment, with Bradley-Alexander winner becoming No.1 if that fight happens end of Jan.

Good fighter. Great speed when thrown in clusters, DECENT power but not great. Good left jab but is sometimes lazy with it and just sticks its out. Love the short right he throws inside. Great uppercut but doesn't use it enough. Tendency to lean in with punches so has to be very careful when doing that because if he does that with Maidana, he's ****ed. Good defence. Bad defence when peddling back across the ropes as he drops his hands and I feel Maidana could catch him there. Bad chin as we all know. Likes to fire right back when hit with a shot which could be his undoing so he has to be careful of that. Good lateral movement. Excellent Boxing brain. Does exactly what his corner says and executes it.

Khan is a good fighter overall and I think he's better than all the other champs. Probably on par with Bradley if not better than him in terms of talent.

If Khan beats Maidana then naturally he will look to fight Bradley or Alexander.

Bring on Alexander or Bradley, Khan would beat them both.

How will he be number 1 if hes just got a wba belt, while Devon Alexander has 2 belts and Bradley is probably better than both of them? If Khan beats his mandatory (Maidana has been his mandatory for about a year) he'll get some more respect, but for me hes not the top lww until he beats Alexander and Bradley...and neither Bradley or Alexander are really the number 1 lww either until they have all the belts.

Amir isnt the number 1 lww just like Haye isnt the number 1 heavyweight.
