I don't think he's with Bradley yet. Even if he beats Maidana I wouldn't consider him the best in the division. Bradley for me still stands above the crowd as the best all round fighter at 140.

A 17 year old was schooling Abregu in sparring before the fight with Timmy. Bradley looked average/good with a fighter who he should have made look very silly.

Bradley is the top because he's proven himself by facing good opposition but in terms of talent, I put Khan ahead. I think he has a better skillset and is still developing.

Beating Kotelnik, Paulie, Maidana all top 10 140 fighters would beat any resume at 140 for now, if Bradley vs Alexander comes off then the winner of that fight becomes No.1 140

Hmm well I wouldn't read too much into fights like that. Sometimes fighters do that, you only have to look at Cotto to see how a fighter can blow hot and cold depending on who he's facing. You have to view them as a whole and For me the Amir Khan who fought Mallignaggi, which is him at his best so far, would lose to Bradley

Great write up of Khan. Could not have put it better myself.

You are right in saying when he gets tagged with a hard shot he forgets the training and starts to brawl. But with hands as quick as his this is not exactly a downside. This has actually helped him in the past many times.

I am going for Khan By UD or late TKO. He will execute Raoches plan perfectly and Maid will loose heart in later rounds.

Its a great fight for boxing IMO. I dont care what all the haters say.
At this stage in their careers i dont think there is a better opponent for either fighter.

If its in the UK (which i doubt) i will be so going to this one.

yea like I said khans in trouble with the prospect killer, he gets my respect if he wins. Alexander man look like trash prefer the bradly fight. Let alexander get some more good wins in then he beat him too? he be number 1 in my eyes. Khan has the better trainer of all of them anybody that beats him again is simply just the better fighter

It's that "desire to trade/brawl" that drags this fight from a highly probably Khan wide UD. He can be told and told and told, but his problem is I believe he genuinely believes that he can trade, so even though his corner might instruct him otherwise he'll consider them incorrect due to his self belief. This has happened repeatedly in the past, so can't be disputed that he does it even in his Roach fights.

I'm speculating with the next part but it's entirely possible this is why he's never been trusted with punchers in the past. If he had the discipline to do it, and not try showboat, impress, crowd please, brawl then perhaps they would.

Lest I remind everyone that Oscar also made the same statements about Mayweather vs Pac and look what happened there...

Proven fact ,once a fighter has been KO once ,its more likely to happen 90% of the time they retire.Kahn can't beat punchers and if or whenever he does step up watch what happens. He's trying to make all the money he can right now because after he goes to sleep for the second time ,his career is over.
