Franco is very good, but very underrated. I am very happy that he won, let's see him step up his competition. Franco has 300+ amateur bouts and many many International amateur bouts at the International stage. I have seen him in action, he is fast, accurate, powerful and has excellent skills. :good

Gamboa is champ, Rigo will be a champ in november,Lara and Solis probably fight for titles in six months. Despaigne is top 15. Who do you experts think is next up ? Franco, Jhonson or Acosta ? Can Ugas make it to a title-fight in 9-10 fights ? Dorticos ?
Inocente Fizz/Fiz/Fis or whatever his name is , former medalist any chances he could make it ,he is 30

    Acosta.

But I don't like how the Irish Cubans are being handled, they have chances that the Cubans here in America don't. Fighting for European titles, those would boost them up in the rankings greatly and add some names to their records. EBA, EBU, EBU-EU, all those titles that would help but they arn't being let.

Two fighters that had their pro debut this year Luis Ortiz (heavy) and Pedro Rodriguez (cruiser) both have done really good in boxrec ,scoring many points in their three fights.
Luis Ortiz (top 3 heavy in Cuba) 3-0-0 scoring 113 points. He is number 78 in heavy.
Pedro Rodriguez (top 4 lightheavy in Cuba) 3-0-0 ,85 points and number 83 in cruiser.
Ugas also 3-0-0 but only 12 points. He must meet better fighters !!!!

Luis Garcia is facing Uruguayan Jorge Rodriguez Olivera (20-1, 9KOs) on October 2 in an 8 rounder, listed at 168lbs on boxrec.com.

If he can, I definitely think Garcia should return to SMW, that's where the big fights are including DeGale whom Luis called out, saying "I could get some Christmas shopping done in London and show Chumpy DeGale what professional boxing is all about so it sounds like a fun weekend to me."

But Warren won't let Garcia anywhere near DeGale anytime soon, and for the time being, Olivera looks to be the right step forward in Luis' career. The Uruguayan is the WBO Latino SMW champ and his biggest win is a decision over the Casanova Garcia beat in 1 round. Not much elso on the resume other than a clear decision loss to Francisco Mora. Can Garcia be the 1st man to stop Olivera?
