Your top 5 best HW of all time

    i was thinking about it earlier.
    Im sure its been done and thought about a million times, but i found it difficult coming up with my top 5. Based on prime skill and resume:

    1. Muhammad Ali- IMO a 1966 Muhammad Ali beats any heavyweight in history. He brought boxing to unimaginable heights and his resume is mad respectable

    2. Joe Louis- One of the best finishers ive ever seen, he clinically put his opponents away and demonstrated ATG power. Also holds the most title defences at HW.

    3. Lennox lewis- controversial yes i know, but skills wise hes very conservative and uses his physical strengths very well. Terrific right hand, and beat every fighter he ever faced in a strong era of HW

    4. Larry Holmes- One of the best jabs HW boxing has seen, and defended his title 16 times to dominate the heavyweight scene.

    5. Rocky Marciano- One of the most respected champions in history, good chin, great heart and a killer right hand.

    I don't think any of your picks are controversial. I think Holmes's positioning would take the most defending based upon your criteria.

    Yeah i thought about it for a while. But Holmes did demonstrate clear consistency in his reign, something thats gotta be respected.

    Johnson has perhaps the worst return on top 3 contenders matched during his reign between Sullivan and Wlad. All his has for company by my mark is Vitali and Dempsey.

    I dont understand why Johnson is on peoples list. He fights barbaric, the era he fought in was not well schooled

    He fought in a racist era that did everything in their power to prevent/take his title away from him. He defeated men the experts on here consider the greatest fighters ever(Fitz, Jeffries, Langford). Stylewise he did himself no favours either. He must've been special with these odds stacked against him

    anyway all of what you just said is subjective and just your opinion, meanwhile acomplishments and resume are REAL
