Its what i have been saying all along. Ever since the Margo fight he got big headed and either wants huge paydays to fight a tough fight or will only fight people that suit his style then say he is avoided. Fights he has avoided. Margo rematch, until Margo became the man by beating Cotto Clottey Dzinzurik Cintron rematch even though Cintron is a ***** but he was beating Paul Quintana 3rd fight although the second one was conclusive he wanted a rubbermatch.. Now it looks like Martinez will be added on to that list. Yea most avoided my ass... Thats why i have never liked that kid. Claiming he was avoided when no one knew who he was and actually still alot of people dont know who he is.
HBO announced it, but according to Dan Rafael despite contracts being done and agreed to for over a month PW STILL hasn't signed off,,, and everybody involved is getting real pissed with all the foot dragging. WTF? I just really want to see this fight knowhatimsayin?. Come on Paul... WTF you waiting for??? :twisted:
He needs to fight Cintron again. Even if it did look like Paul's eyes nearly shot out his head after a hard right hand.
I am waitng... and waiting, and waiting!!!... So is Team Martinez, HBO, the venue, and an army of fight freaks who are dying to see this rematch! I'm not making my pick yet,,, just asking: Is he ever gonna sign? ...and if so what's the fkn hold-up?
Well the fight will get signed im pretty sure of that im just venting. There is no where else PW can go to get that kind of money and titles. Other than PBF or Pac. He knows his time is about up though so maybe he will avoid it and just fight some other contenders. Im telling you guys i saw signs of PWs chin being cracked after the first fight. PW fighting carefully and boxing against Cintron. IMO Martinez can crack harder than Cintron and PW looked scared in there. In a rematch im expecting a stoppage. Another chin im pretty sure has been cracked is Margaritos. Not so sure though on that one....
That's what I'm worried about! It's been "all but a done deal" for a long fkn time now! Why isn't it a DONE DEAL? Or am I just jumping the gun here and being too impatient?
He chased pavlik before anyone know he was a bum, so what are you talking about? He has "avoided" just as many fights as any other fighter. No fighter fights everybody and as of late he has a decent resume.
Neither fighter has signed. HBO still has the date open. I'm guessing 's why they showed it on Gamboa/Salido.
