Is Mosley's choice of opponent sign that he's given up

Confidence builder, if he really wants to carry on boxing anyway. If he wins this, maybe one more big bout before he retires...

 

mosley will get his ass kicked in this fight and yet again prove that he is a despicable drug cheat who has been over-rated by gullable americans his entire career.

 

Mora is a long ways from "Bum" status. He is actually a pretty solid "B" or "B +" fighter. He gets under rated and badmouthed because WE DETEST HIS ARROGANT ASS!

In truth this is a risky fight for Shane that carries almost no reward. I think he is crazy for doing this. I just hope the hell he wins. Watching Mora beat Shane would be worse than watching him beat Vernon Forest.

 

You've never heard of Sergio Mora, you don't understand the concept of taking an easier fight after a big loss and you don't seem familiar with the idea that Shane struggles to get big names to fight him. Just sayin.... :good

Granted, he hasn't been making any headlines recently, but he is a pretty well known name to all but the most casual fans from winning the Contender and later beating Vernon Forrest.

He isn't a bum, as even a win over a past-prime Forrest who underestimated you is too much of an achievement for a "bum". He gets trash-talked a lot because of his very unappealing spoiler style and the overblown boastful attitude that goes with it. He isn't the absolute best Mosley could fight at 154, but he's a far cry from a "sign that he's given up".

 

Stay busy fight that he will probably lose.

Mora is a very good boxer. I underrated him before, but he dominated Vernon Forrest in their first fight and will have a huge size advantage on Mosley.

There's no way he kept juicing after being questioned by the feds.

 

Mora is about on the level of a Miranda but with a very different style. Now he's getting old and had trouble making 154 in his last fight at JMW on top of it..
