Pacquiao-Marquez III @ 147 - What's the Outcome...???

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BenjaminLinus, Sep 15, 2010.

  1. Marquez gets brutally KO'd under 8 rounds and retires is my official prediction. Pac really started entering his prime after the second fight and since become a certified beast and more complete fighter.

    Great.
You put him against marquez at a weight everyone knows he cant fight at.

Does Pacquiao give you money for trying to make him look good?

Nacho will stop it like he did with Oscar. Marquez is not a 147 fighter. 140 is absolute max weight.

Man, if this fight gets made it should be at 135. It'd be an fair for Marquez.

I don't know about brutally kayoed, but Marquez does get stopped in a welterweight rubbermatch with Pacquiao right now.

As a JMM fan, I'd much rather see them meet at lightweight, but that is not going to happen - so I'd rather not see them meet again, period.

I don't really see the difference here, Pacquaio was 146 in Marquez II, he claims he isn't gonna be over 151 in his next fight.

I don't see this fight playing out much differently than Pac vs JMM II.

Marquez fought Pacquiao who starved himself to make weight. It's a whole different ball game now. Marquez isn't even great at 135.

One thing for sure though. Pac will make weight to give Marquez a fair fight at welterweight.

Pacquiao weighing at or near 147 (at the weigh-in, not ON FIGHT NIGHT as he did in the rematch as the above goofball pointed out) is not a fair fight for JMM.

Anything over 135 is unfair for Marquez at this point. He has a lower size ceiling than Pacquiao, that's pretty obvious by now.

Unless Manny can and will make 135, this fight should not happen. If it happens over that weight, it's a joke.

Their both gonna enter the ring near enough the same as they did when fighting at 130.

I honestly don't see it playing out much differently, its not like they're massive welters, Pac has always had a weight advantage over Marquez, I just believe Marquez style always gives Pacquaio problems.

I stiill dont see it being much different than their last fight.

I understand the point your trying to make, but Marquez was 142 and Pac was 146 when they fought at 130. What i'm saying is their ring weight wont be that much different if they fought now at 147.

Obviously Marquez was also boiling down to make 130 back then, so i don't see how it gives either one the advantage.

You're keeping out of the equation Pac would not have to drain himself down to that weight.

And no, Marquez wasn't boiling down to 130 since his last fight at 135, he weighed 133. And came in under 130 for a couple 130 fights.

Pac's grown since, capable of fighting at 147, JMM maxed out at 135.
