    Khan doesn't have that many fans. The majority of FOLLOWERS are just people who want to see him get beat, like me.

    how would you know that , khans not a bad person i cant see were the hate comes from , just because theres a few ******s on here that just post about hating him rather than actual boxing dosent represent the rest of boxing fans just like laz and darni dont with there hugging

    Because nobody wants to pay for maidana where as khan has a paying fanbase or hatebase willing to pay to see him get beat.

    Maidana doesn't bring much to the negotiating table in terms of sales and actual paying fans, harsh but the truth and the way of todays world.

    He is free to go and fight someone else for far less up to him really, nobody held a gun to his head and made him sign a contract.

    If Maidana only took $550K he should have forced the purse bid. I don't think those figures are accurate at all. Taking that amount would roughly be the same as the original deal he balked on then asked for a purse bid.

    Look at the upside. Imagine if Maidana beats Khan, he can demand minimum $1 million in his next fight.
