Who's Boycotting Haye v Harrison and won't buy the PPV

I've heard that before. I'll do the same. Except I'll actually live up to my words.

 

You keep repeating that line but I just don't see it like that at all. The fight is happening either way, buy it or don't buy it but get off your high horse about those that will pay for the PPV or attend the fight. A few boxing fans on a forum boycotting it is an irrelevance and doesn't mean people who do pay for it can't have an opinion on any other fights they think are poor matchups in the future.

Just because someone thinks paying 15 quid for the PPV might be a better Saturday night in than watching X-Factor then that automatically voids their opinion on any other future poor fights? Nonsense.

(For the record I'm not attending the fight or paying of the PPV but that due to circumstances, not some high and mighty moralistic crusade).

 

It depends on the undercard for me. I doubt Haye will put anyone on unless he has done some dodgy business with the Mag 7 dropouts......

 

I just don't see why anyone cares. Honestly, a boycott? Wow that's going to make a difference when every other ****er who's casually interested in boxing buys the damn thing.

It's a TV fight - big names, good back story and a highlight reel KO one way or the other.

 

Im going to the fight got my ticket all sorted.

We only get 2-3 big build up fights a year now. the type of fights like this, where the boxers are on every channel, people talk about it and sky promote it to death. so why not let yourself get caught up in the hype and promotion, we're all boxing fans at the end of the day. i would rather look forward to an event rather than rant about it. i know in an ideal world, things would be different, but hey, whatever. the fights happening. if you dont like it, and want to moan/***** about it, fine, thats your choice. but id rather look forward to a couple of months where boxing is in the limelight and look forward to the build up of a big event (however long the actual fight lasts)

I tend not to complain too much about fighs anyway. Thats just me though...

 

I've already promised to not buy the PPV or anything.

I don't give a damn if I was the only person in the UK doing that, it's my choice and my decision against this farce of a fight.

 

Yup, everyones entitled to their own opinion like Damon, not everyone is going to learn to live with it but hey, like you said mate its all offical and going ahead. it wont be that bad.

Don't be such a self-righteous, immature git. If people want to drop 15 quid for a bit of boxing on a Saturday night then thats their business and it certainly doesn't stop them having a valid opinion on any future fights they may feel are not up to scratch.
