Why do boxing fans hate on a boxer with a weak chin?

Yeah but the ESB chin checkers don't just say fighters like Khan have glass jaws as some fact about a fighter. They say he's a glass jawed joke or glass jawed fraud as if having a glass jaw is reason enough to disrespect a fighter. I'm pretty sure that's hating. Being lazy at training like Arreola and hating on him for that I understand because it's a factor he can actually do something about, unlike having a bad chin. Heck even hating on Khan because he's arrogant I would understand, but this obsession with glass jaws is just strange.

But this is ESB anyway, nobody is going to convince anybody else of anything because everything here is the irrefutable truth. So debating the point is useless.

Probably the best statement that can made on the subject. ^

This can only mean one of two things. Your standard for humor is outrageously poor, or you are such a female, such a vagina, that the mere suggestion that anyone else might have a shred of masculinity drives you into estrogen induced euphoria.

I always figure its cause everyone wants winners and fighters they see as flawless. And chins are the biggest weakness you can have in this sport and can result in the worst thing that can happen to a fighter..... getting knocked the **** out.

Why a guy like Jason Litzau gets some much hate is beyond me. He's almost never in a dull fight and even with the **** chin he has a huge heart. I can understand not being a fan but hating him?? I dont get it.

having a disgraceful glass jaw is a repulsive thing for any boxer to possess :dead

fighters like vlad, khan, and jones have the jaw of a 6 stone grandmother :dead

many of the problems arise on esb when feeble nutthuggers deny the irrefutable scientific fact of their fighters glass jaw and try and defend it with some delusional denial :-(

I don't hate on any fighter, unless he pulls some nefarious Valero **** or refuses fights like Floyd. It takes balls, dedication and a ton of hard work to get in that ring, fight thru the pain and nervousness and perform, and I respect what they do. Even the club fighters.

Also, RJJ did NOT have a weak chin until he got old. **** I wish he would have retired after taking Ruiz's belt, because we'd never have had to listen to that bull****.

Because that's the easiest and most visible weakness to jump on by pathetic fools, a ******ed ****** can figure out that much. Everybody loves a winner, and some think a weak chin is a tool of a loser. I feel quite the contrary, coming through to the top with a weak chin, now that is really something. Nazim Richardson said Wlad might be one of the best HWs ever, because he's so dominant with a suspect chin.

I guess the winners in life find a way to find the positive even in the negative, while the pathetic losers need the winners in the ring to follow and the weaks to spit on to make their shitty lives a bit less shitty.

The reason I don't like glass jaw fighters is cos they never get in any proper brawls, ie Ward v Gatti, weak chinned fighters are usually very good boxers ie Khan

    - Because we pay to see a 12 round fight, and sometimes a glass jaw can leave you feeling a little short changed.

    - A KO is the most dramatic and focal point of any fight, so is the moment that everyone will remember. What sticks in the memory will naturally be more discussed than, say the tremendous defensive moves Cotto displayed at the end of (I think) round 5 vs Margarito

    - How can anyone hate Marvin Hagler or Julio cesar Chavez? That just isn't happening

My profile name used to be urblflurdzgitz but I went into the place where you change your signature and made sure it was an SNV signature, and the place where you change your avatar and made sure it was an SNV avatar, and I prayed to SNV and now it's Boxed Ears.

I like to watch chinny fighters who can punch. Most exciting type of fighter in my opinion

I think the majority of fights that leave fans short changed are 12 rounders. Most fans want to see a stoppage
