Rafa starches Juanma and John wins a decision (if fair) over Gamboa.

Though Gamboa v Juanma is a fairly easy win for Gamboa.

 

No matter who wins, we got three great fighters presenting two great fights.

Do not underestimate Marquez, I am rooting for JML but I see the Marquez fight at 50-50 right now so I'm not going to get excited about a JML-Gamboa until I see the Marquez-Lopez fight.

 

Its a dangerous dangerous thing to look past an elite fighter :nono if Juanma's not carefull it will be Gamboa vs Marquez come February :deal

 

If JuanMa wins than they need to have a rematch in Miami, it's only fair.

I honestly think I might favor Marquez to win that fight. I really don't know if JuanMa can handle being countered all night.

 

I am a huge fan of Juanma and Gamboa. I have been waiting for this fight for a while now. My 8 year old son even keeps asking me when they are going to fight.

Marquez is still no slouch though, and Juanma better be on his A game that night. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Raf pull the upset in that fight.

 

Possible, but Lopez and Gamboa have to win their fights before June. Juanma wwill have a tough opponent on MArquez. Let's see what carcass they put against Gamboa next.

 

Im somewhat confused how Marquez is being seen as an underdog here :huh this is by far and away the biggest test of Juanma's career , and lets face it , he's been life and death with much lesser fighters than Rafael Marquez :deal

If John gets his hands on Gamboa before the Juanma fight (providing Juanma wins) expect John to dessimate him , if Gamboa fights him like he did Salido :deal

I think the jury is out on both fighters TBH , and ive got Marquez the favourite going into there fight , and id have John the over whelming favourite against Gamboa ..........

 

I agree with you, Marquez is a very dangerous opponent and he shouldn't be the underdog in this fight. I wonder if there are any betting odds for this fight yet? As for the Gamboa-John fight the only thing I can see working against John is the inactivity. I dont know how he would react to a hungry and determined Gamboa.

 

Definatley a question mark over John in that sense , i think the John we know and have seen in the past , mauls the Gamboa that fought Salido .

I mean i was just watching him throwing them lazy rights hands and going back with his chin waaaaaaaay too high and hands down , thinking of how seasoned John is , and that lazer beam right hand , i just see him taking Gamboa out !!!!! :deal

All that said , John's inactivity has to be a factor , i wonder if they will fight ???
