Paul Williams: 'I've never seen Pacquiao ducking anybody'

Man I saw the shot but Paul walked through it. For me Paul's chin is solid and proven. Especially taking that shot from Kermit who has heavy hands. The shot actually WOKE PAUL up. I gotta watch the fight again if he was WOBBLED as badly as you say. I could be mistaken but I didn't see Paul in ANY trouble.

 

He wasn't wobbled. It snapped his head back from what I can see. He came right back.

Possibly! It looked good early for him. But he is mentally SHOT. I think Paul is above Kermit on all levels as a boxer. He just lost his mojo after losing to Marg the way he did...TWICE. Has NEVER been the same. Definitly has all the tools and talent to be something but having the late start and having his mental state damaged through loses has ended his career in my opinion.

 

I agree with that. His style vs PAC's style is one that allows MORE opportunities to capitolize on openings where Floyd's DEFENSIVE style doesn't leave many openings at all.

Now....I still think Paul beats Floyd as well. His length, size and work rate would overwhelm Floyd and I see him outworking the more efficent and smaller fighter.

 

I'm not saying it didn't "HURT"....but given the kind of puncher Kermit is....landing that kind of shot that Paul ate...and kept it movin. I don't think he was WOBBLED. Maybe stunned for a split second b/c his head snapped back, but ultimately Kermit's shot didn't cause any signifigant damage. It was a good shot that would have floored someone with a lesser chin but Paul is solid.

 

Agreed....what happened with that? I thought the rematch was solidified already.
