    I think it's great we don't ask for any base morality from our boxing idols. I mean what with Hatton's drug habbits and misleading of fans, Haye's cowardice in a pugilistic sport, Ward's third arm, Dirrell's butterfeet and Mayweather's excused racism and physical battery of his wife modern boxing is looking better than ever!!!

    And with other role models like Jackson molesting children, Tiger Woods' infidelity and the media obsession with Paris Hilton and her influence on millions of our children the self inflicted demise of western civilization is finally starting to bear fruit.

    It's great so few of you care. You have your careers, your cable TV with click click 500 channels and you can buy a six pack for a few dollars too; you should be proud!!!

    I was a fan.

    My father hated him for wrestling and grappling and beating Kostya (my father loved watching that dude) and a lot of guys hate his "ugly" fighting style, but I liked it.

    Err, that was an off the cuff comment he said to demonstrate his confidence. And he actually believed it was going to be an easy win seeing how he showed Pac little respect in trying to walk through him with his hands down. That's all it was.

    Honestly you guys will jump on anything to diss a fighter you don't like. This is as stupid as that thread condemning Filipino's for giving Margo a pass (who most probably never heard of), whilst criticising Mayweather's racist comments about their race.

    If any of Hatton's fans actually went out and did that, then they are ****ing idiots and deserve to be homeless and kicked out of society.

    And if treating their fans like ****=not deserving any fans, then **** Mayweather wouldn't get a single fan or PPV buy for his fights. Truth is he is the most popular fighter with Pacquiao.

    I like this response. Spoken like a true Hatton fan & respectful.

    My beef was with Hatton's words not his ring achievements & I still think he should have known better; what he did was wrong. But Your respect for him is a good thing and he will need it to become a better person.
