Does anyone have Kirkland? he should be out soon to add a bit of juice to light middle. Would love to see him vs. Angulo.

Never been sold on Kirkland though tbh. I think he's just another Lacy...In this sport, it's a rare breed to get the total package. I can't see that kid learning how to box! He's violent, doesn't move his head and never had my interest. IMO he's not as good as he appears. I like that Tyson-esque "I'm gonna walk you down and have no respect for your work" type of mentality though. When Kirkland began making noises in the corner after eating a whole lot of leather in one his fights, I was like this crazy dude is going to hurt someone who's not disciplined. Angulo=not disciplined.

Kirkland would have been the first name on my team sheet if i knew he'd definitely be fighting soon and in reasonable shape, but couldn't take the risk. I'm a big fan which is unusual for me because generally i'm all about the skills, but this guy is the real deal. Ann Wolfe had him in sickeningly good shape before he went down, and that mentality is something else, he'd walk a Kiltschko down this mad man

I've really got my reservations about Kirkland.

The last time i saw him he KO'd someone, but i remember thinking...if you can ever look bad with a mid round stoppage, then that was it. Kirkland is not quite the fighter I thought at the beginning...someone like Sergio Martninez would box circles around him. The kid needs to break away from Ann Wolfe as she has this kid thinking he's fighting an anti-science, 4 round UFC match. But alas, he can hide for a while when he comes out of incarceration as 154 flies under the radar. Just like Lacy, this kid has no clue how to vary the speed and look of his punches and is a schooling waiting to happen.

Another prospect who isn't going to make it IMHO is Omar Henry. Just a big, strong lump.

I just think Kirkland's a different breed Slip, regardless of any technical deficiencies and lack of skill the kid's just an animal. I don't think he's gonna change any time soon and from a few articles i've read, conditioning wise Ann Wolfe is among the best in the business. Some of her routines i've heard described as barbaric. From a technical standpoint i totally agree with the reservations, i just think he's got something special about him. He'll be in some brutal fights at 154, that's one thing for sure.
