Most people in power could care less about boxers. here's a guy who boxed himself and now he has a voice so he wants to help boxers and fans alike.

He certainly has some great ideas on changing the regulations of boxing. Everything else however... not so much. I used to respect him, but when he got his presidential aspirations and started flip flopping his opinions to suit the conservative majority I lost all respect for him. So sorry, as much as I love boxing I can not support him for president.

Looks like McCain has some good ideas...

McCain was always so reasonable and down to earth before the whole race for the presidency. When he became a candidate he started doing what all the republicans have been doing; acting like an extremist.

Seriously, that entire political party needs to calm the **** down and take their crazy medication...

Yes it sounds all good for boxing but the war hero **** is all lies. The man was born into money and prestige just like George W. Bush and just like George W. he graduated at the bottom of his class . Both trained to be pilots while serving the Army. McCain crashed 3 planes during training . As a POW he sold out letting his captives know he comes from a family of generals so its more advantageous to keep his sorry ass alive . He's nothing but a flip flopping puppet and his incompetence was shown very clearly when choosing to run with Sarah Palin who he created. The man is garbage . Plus he supported the immigration act and spread lies with our Govenor Jan Brewer that these people from Mexico are killing and beheading citizens close to the border.

The dude decided to stay capitve before he'd leave his boyz behind. He kept his family history secert b/c he didn't want better treatment then his buddies.
Wow, he crashed 3 planes and walked away from each one......that's awesome!!!
Anyways my views are regards to helping boxing only. I think his ideas would better the sport.
He's a boxer, a military hero, he walks away from plane crashes w/o a scratch, he ****s brazilians, & he wants to help improve boxing. That's bad ass!
really I don't care who fixes the sport. I wish everybody cared and had and election to choose the best guy to fix the sport.

McCain's heart is in the right place on this and he's a legit boxing fan. But these ideas are gonna be almost impossibe to enforce. Just too much dirty money. If boxing was prodominently a one nation/American sport then this would be easier to carry out, but things like a single governing body the nature of prizefighting is inherently opposed to.

You've got to applaud anyone for trying to fix things though.

  14. I have unlimited respect for McCain but he is part of the old Rethuglican establishment and would be a horrible president.

All that being said, his ideas for Boxing reform are ****in phenomenal and I completely support any bill he puts forth on the matter... Too bad the rest of Congress doesn't really give a **** either way about Boxing.

  15. This is a bull**** post through and through bro. Theres much more to the running of our government than what goes on in the sport of Boxing.
