I think Cotto biggest enemy is himself. I still don't understand what is he doing at 154lbs, other than not training as hard as he has to train to make 147lbs. I think Cotto already got too comfortable and is not training like he used to. I will not be surprised by anything, not matter who is Cotto fighting next.

I think i heard somewhere that Cotto struggled coming down a few times in his last few fights. There's not much else @ 47 for him anyway. I think he beats just about eveybody else that brings a big money fight @ 47, then he's right back to fight either Floyd or rematch Pac.

I didn't think he jumped out the ring @ first, but the tumble didn't look to cause enough momentum to go out the ring like he did. I would never expect a fighter to do that. Either way i think he bitched out, cause he definitely milked the back pain for sure.

Hell no, i hate the thought of Cintron getting a crack at Cotto, especially given Cintrons power.... i dont think i could handle Cintron beating Cotto

The fight unfortunatly makes sense though.... two PR fighters, two 'contenders' at 154, two former welterweights, ect, ect.

    :-(

He came in at 145 against Pac and said he felt good, with no draining, even after the fact. He came in at 146 prior to that against Clottey. And he looked pristine in both weigh ins as well.

Cotto is not a 154lb fighter and it will show when he faces a natural 154lber, hell, he was having some fustrations with how durable and strong the bigger 147lbers were (urkal, clottey, margarito) as he was obviously the smaller man in those fights even.

    Cotto belongs at 147
