    So the contracts are finalized.

Pascal has been compared to RJJ because of his unusual style and speed. Hopkins is 45. Will this look like RJJ-Hopkins I or II?

Neither imo ..It will be a one sided win for Hopkins and I pray it doesn't look anything like Hops RJJ 2 due to the acting ..

I think Pascal wins a decision. However, I think Hopkins teaches him a few lessons along the way and makes it close and leaves Pascal in a worse state than he will be in at the end of the fight (think Hopkins-Taylor I).

I don't know if he acted because Jones still has power and you never know how a guy reacts to a punch. What I don't get is why are people so shocked with Hopkins' tactics in the RJJ rematch? The calzaghe fight was much worse at least RJJ-Hopkins 2 had some action it was much more enjoyable than Hops-Calz and I thought it was an OK match. It would've been better had Jones let his hands go but I don't think he has it in his anymore.

That was 5 years ago though. Hopkins did age well but he's still 45 so I think people are overrating his chances here. He would have to dig deep and pull the fight of his life and he hasn't done that in two years(Pavlik). Lets not forget that Pascal should be the favorite.

Pascal taps Hopkins on the break and Hopkins goes down in agony winning via DQ

And 15 lbs ago. This is pretty much why I'm picking Pascal, so I'm not sure why you say I'm overrating his chances. I just don't see him as a good fighter that has a lot of flaws, just like pretty much everyone else. Like I said, I think he takes a close but fairly clear victory(a la Cloud Johnson). It wouldn't surprise me if Pascal is tired late and more worse for wear than Hopkins.

He acted like a ***** in both fights we can agree on that ..Though I agree the RJJ fight was a little more entertaining both were still a train wreck .I just hope in the Pascal fight we get a good boxing match and not a holding match ..

Again, we can't say if he acted or not because I don't know if it's true but I did hear he fainted in the locker room. What he did in the Calzaghe fight was terrible and BTW he did become more aggressive after his breathers I'll give him that plus I wouldn't call him a "*****" because he fought on and I don't know whether he was hurt or not but people remember, he's BERNARD HOPKINS! One of the biggest opportunists out there if ya don't believe me study his tactics. He even headbutted Taylor and made it look unintentional. He's a crafty guy but ya have to remember in the ring you have to do what you can while you're fighting, the ref can't protect you all the time.

Pascal does not mind me of RJjr at all. He reminds me of William Joppy.

Fainted in the locker room only to be cleared of any head innjury right away ..Hell of an acting job .Well I will call him on how he acted ..There is no denying Hopkins crafitness its one of his trademarks ,I just hope like I said we get a good boxing match ..Hopkins is the only fighter to have ever put me to sleep twice : The Echols fight and the Homes fight so I hope it entertains ..

Nah I was one of Hopkins biggest fans I loved Hops ..But his last couple of fights left me with a bad taste in my mouth considering the legend that he is .I didn't think he had to act in the manner that he did in either the Calzaghe fight or the Jones fight especially in the Jones fight considering he was shot to bits !

Then clearly you haven't seen much of Hopkins lol. Should people truly criticize Hops for a few bad performances in I don't know....his 40's???? Why do people put Hopkins on a pedastal like that I mean what top win in light heavy against someone who belonged there has he had since beating Tarver? TBH He could've retired then and even Nazim thinks he should've. Now he schools Pascal huh? I'll see it to believe it but people forget age affects EVERYONe but Hopkin' craftiness negates how much it shows but the true facts are he is on the decline.

I have seen most if not all of his fights .What makes Hopkins a freak of nature is his technical ability and his craftiness but sometimes its not easy on the eyes ..Too me I think he can school Pascal like he did Pavlik but if he does the typical punch and grab don't say I didn't warn you ..
