Adamek just signed to fight Vinny in December. Tua looked great for 4 rounds, until he went passive. Word is, he hurt his shoulder in sparring, and didn't spar the last two weeks of camp. Although Tua won't say it, it affected the middle and championship rounds vs Barrett. He just didn't throw much after that. The Tua who fought Barrett for the first 4 rounds against Barrett will make a fight of it vs Wlad. Problem is, can he keep it up? Chef, any word on Klit fighting Tua? Everyone is uncommonly silent about it here in NZ.

There hasnt been any word really. We only know that Adamek, Haye, Valuev, Povetkin and probably Solis is out of the picture at the moment.

Arreola probably doesnt deserve a shot at Wlad.
And it might be too soon for Boytsov and Dimitrenko.

That leaves us with Tua, Mormeck as the best choices. (Hope it's not Mormeck..)

Tua or Adamek. Wlads jab will mean Tua can do nothing all night , if/when Tua gets tired Wlad can try and get a KO or more likely TKO giving him some kind of bragging right. Adamel would be a much more live opponent but lacks punching power Wlad should deal with him in the same way he deals with evryone else i dont see Adamek as having any type of amazing speed.

True, but Adamek will make for a much better fight. Not a great fight, probably not even a good fight, but a better fight than against Tua.

Tua or Solis. However, Solis refused to fight Vitali, so it might have to be Tua.

out of that list, i would actually credit wlad for beating haye, solis, adamek, arreola, valuev.

now haye and adamek are fighting.

so reasonably i would expect him to fight either valuev, solis or arreola. either of them can present him with problems. valuev will take wlad right out of his gameplan, and although the fight will be boring, it will also be interesting to see wlad adapt his fight plan.

solis or arreola are both strong fighters who can push forward and bang. i would prefer solis as he hasnt yet been exposed, but arreola is arguably a bigger name.

as a footnote, i appreciate he has beaten both his mandatories this year so might just want a throw away voluntary, in which case fight james toney i think. he has a name, and the fight will sell.

interestingly enough, i would be surprised if he lost to any of them names, other than solis. solis vs wlad is 60/40 in favour of wlad to me. the rest are 90/10 in favour of wlad.

    so to summarise.

i want his next fight vs either valuev, solis or arreola. but i would accept a james toney fight.

i do not want to see him vs tua or mormeck. but as another side note, i do rate tua above briggs and harrison.

I hope it's not Tua because he is thoroughly shot and probably less formidable at this stage of his career than Fraudley.
