Difficult one to be honest - I think it'd depend on whether it was in the cage and whether it was done by the unifed rules. If it was a UFC fight, I think Couture wins either by using his better technical boxing and clinch game to wear down Fedor standing before taking him down. In the ring, Couture would be a dead man.

Fedor has looked a bit off in his last few fights but still pulled it out except vs Werdum & dont be suprised if this version of Fedor still beats Werdum`s ass badly in the rematch.

Couture is no match for Fedor, Fedor by submission rd 4.

 

Please tell me that your not one of those Zuffa Zombies that voted for Randy, that would just be embarrassing. Oh BTW I didnt use Zuffadog fight finder and have not been brainwashed by Zuffa and Zuffadog. cause chael sonnen can take down anybody(including me)(paul daley will just sucker punch fedor before the fight,(and when he coming out he sees mickey rourke and sucker punches him too, and james toney cause fedor didnt pay his electric bill,,, and another person who would crush fedor is mew comer caleb bryant he has a mean rear naked choke, and dont nobody **** with him. I didn't but it isn't outside of the realm of possibility that he might have done it. He had the ability to put Fedor on his back, and if he could have avoided getting sub'd there is a chance he could have won.

Fedor is the favorite obviously.

i just want to say beebs i find you one of the most balanced posters on here. rarely ever any outlandish statements, accomodating of others views and usually you back up your opinions with good logical reasoning. top marks brother.

 

To really appreciate Randy, we need to remember he really is a blown up light heavy, who outright has outfought, and out thought bonafide, and very dangerous heavies.

I love Randy, he is super accomplished regardless of his natural weight. He has shown his wrestling needs to be taken seriously, even though he is usually the smaller man by a fair margin. That said, I think Fedor is deeper, and better than Randy at everything. Fedor may not go for the same sub as Randy, Fedor may just decide to pound a guy out. Same result, different approach a lot of the time.

 

Fabricio Werdum? Age wasn't a factor in that loss. Fedor's recklessness was.

 

I'll go with Fedor - but I do think Couture would have given him his toughest fight. This fight should have happened in 2006/2007. Between M1 and Zuffa they screwed it all up.

 

The problem wasnt M1. It was the UFC.
