If Maidana K.O.'s Khan what does that say about his jaw at 140"?

If he connects with a flush shot then nothing, Maidana is a proven powerpuncher at the weight. On the other hand, if Malinaggi had K.O.'d Kahn...........

this is an interesting point, because i do believe maidana is an overrated puncher, and if he does knock khan out, i will give him credit for having a big punch.

RE khans chin, that ship has sailed. like hearns, wlad, even lewis(incorrectly IMO) he will now be known as a chinny fighter. wlad has proven you can go 5 years without losing qa round, without being hurt once, whilst dominating and stopping pretty much everyone you fight, and you still have that rep.

Well it's been firmly established that Maidana is a big banger.
    • Now if in the unlikely scenario Khan shrugs off a healthy amount of power shots without toppling over and out, then his chin does appear to have improved at 140.
    • If Khan loses in the same manner as his pal Ortiz (absorbing sickening shots on the way), then that too would give his chin a little more credibility.
    • But if he's wobbled and knocks over with relative ease, then it simply reminds us that his chin hasn't really imroved that much at 140.

Khan has a Glass Jaw. It's irrefutable and not up for debate.

It will tell us nothng. We already know Maidainas a banger and that Khans got a bad punch resistance. It simply means Khan gets the same feeling he got after being floored by Prescott. lol. But in all seriousness we KNOW if Maidaina lands hard shots he'll go down, he dropped Cayo, pretty badly hurt Kotelnik, dropped Chop Chop, dropped Ortiz, theres no question Khan has to keep away from the power.

    Spot on. :good

Maidana has only failed to knock three of his previous opponents out, so it's not like Khan is up against someone with Malignaggi power. Maidana knocks people out...but the above points cover pretty much everything.

And I still have Chino getting to Khan in the latter rounds. :-( I fear this may be another setback for Khan

    Yes it is d******d

If you got his with that booming left by prescott, you would be knocked the f**k out too

Any fighter at 135 would have dropped from that shot, it was right on the button

Khan has an epic p4p glass jaw no matter at what weight hes fighting.
If Maidana lands a flush shot its over. unless they force Maidana to wear 18oz sparring gloves for that fight or something like that..

His chin will always be awful. Even if it has improved, it will be nullified by the fact that he will be in there with bigger punchers at 140. Maidana, Ortiz, Alexander etc all hit harder than Presscott.

I doubt you've ever been in a ring before and even tasted a punch mate.

You try one on the chin and see how you feel and then come back and say who has the glass jaw O.K :good

How is Maidana an overrated puncher? :huh

P4P he is considered at the top of the sport in that regard and deservedly so. He knocks guys silly.
