Look man.... I got nothin against you... I dont' know why you gotta go cap locks on my ass.... But anyway, I'll put it like this... In my opinion, Floyd pressing the fight against the toughest fighter in the game, who is also a big puncher, loves to brawl, and has a significant size advantage is a bad idea. If I were Floyd, honestly I would avoid this guy because he's not worth the risk, but if I had to fight this guy, I would try to employ a similiar game plan that B Hop used against Pavlik. The problem though is that B Hop was bigger than Pavlik, Mayweather may not have a big enough punch to trouble Angulo, and I feel that El Perro has more tools in his arsenal, if not on the same level as a puncher. But as far as Floyd adopting a Lamotta type strategy, I see this being detrimental unless Angulo manages to control the fight from the outside in a similar way that Segura beat Calderon, and Floyd would have no choice, but to try and fight on the inside, if not like Lamotta or Duran, like James Toney sometimes does. But honestly, maybe against someone else, but not Angulo. **** fightin him from the inside. The last guy I saw try to do this was Alcine, and Alcine who can be slick, got his ass beat bad.
Angulo is much to slow with his hands and feet. Cintron quoted Angulo as his best performance . If Angulo fought Floyd I'm going to repeat myself. Floyd/Baldomir all over again. Angulo isn't catching anything but counters and pot shots.
If this is a tune-up for Mayweather, then I wouldn't mind seeing the Pretty One fight Brandon Rios. I know he's taller than Pacquiao, but this guy loves to fight. In fact I think he could actually hurt Floyd Jr. It's his mental toughness that I question. Would he initially get frustrated by Lil' Floyd's defense? It would be an intriguing tune-up...
