Loaded question, I know you do. All of us to varying degrees are better and more confident discussing certain aspects of classic boxing; some are very good with early-20th century fighters. Others are experts on lower-weight fighters from Asia, or whatever. What's your area of expertise?

As I suspect you do, I fancy myself as an 80's expert. Not as prestigious as being a turn of the century or 20's expert, but if we keep at it for 30 mores years we might be held in great esteem ;-)

Yes. I pretty much stick to the heavyweights or I don't know what I'm talking about.
Or I talk about the big-named lower weight classes, but I still don't really know much about the lower weight classes.
    for a time period i guess i specilize in the 70s :p

Yeah; if I know anything, it's that era. I've branched out a little here and there, but can't hold a candle to anyone else here about most other things.

Boxing while wearing clown shoes. Also Russian midget bowling. But that's not really boxing related, save for the fact that Valuev was a champion in that sport as well.

    I don't really post on what I don't know.

The Heavyweight's something I am not interested in that much. However, I love the lower weights guys and the 50's to 60's era, especially in Britain. But my interests change quite frequently and I might start to research '20's fighters soon, or something.

No real area of expertise. I know certain fighters well, and I've become pretty adept at the Light Flyweight division between 1980-1999.

Heavyweights - 1950's is my favourite era so probably know most about that kind of period - but then i love all the era's for different reasons - but certainly i'd consider the heavyweights as my area - writing my own book on heavyweight history so learning as i go aswell about all sorts of fighters from some of the other eras that i might not have been that interested in - in the beginning - been a huge fight fan for........god?...25 years now.....omg!!!!!?? Thats a quarter of a century!!!????

Mainly the heavyweights. since John L Sullivan, it interests me the most.
The era i currently know the most about was the 2000-2009 one. since ive watched all the big fights from the lower weights up to heavys

Most of my posts centre around certain fighters that I like, rather than weight classes or historical periods more generally.

Pick any weight class or historical period and my knowledge will have more holes than Swiss cheese.

I take an interest in all eras of classic boxing, but I tend to favour the 70's heavyweights and the 80's light, welter, and middle divisions.
