marquez's fights with pacman really eclipse his resume and define his ability.
regardless of the scorecards - one which was admittedly ****ed up anyway and he should have won - marquez is a rare fighter in that his two 'losses' to pacman are just as important to his credentials as any of his wins.

if you're comparing who's the best fighter P4P, marquez is.

sorry we are doign what is written on paper, just want to know if the 2 fighter's resume even compares and since losses shouldnt be counted according to a certain group of fans then we cant take that into consideration

    sure we can.
who a fighter fought and when is how you judge a fighter's career.

everything else in this sport is smoke and mirrors.

    Well said.

These are my 2 favourite (spelled w/the 'u' as I'm in an English forum) active fighters.

As well, were one to ask Cotto directly in relaxed settings, my guess is that he would acknowledge the current p4p superiority of JMM respectfully and without bitterness.

If Cotto has demonstrated nothing else, it's that he's a grown-up.

I'd say JMM edges it slightly with the 5 best opponents, and he comfortably beats Cotto in regards to legacy.
