Why have Sky got Sosnowski in the British HW rankings?

I think they rank those boxers with a British boxing license.

Sorry, misread the question. I didn't see it was SKYs rankings, I guess they've just followed Boxing News and ranked him?

 

On their preview show of the Mag 7. The top 4 was:

1. David Haye
2. Albert Sosnowski
3. Audley Harrison
4. Michael Sprott

They put up the British top 10 when talking about the Chisora/Sexton fight on one of the countdown shows they're doing. Sosonowski was second behind Haye.

 

On the side info bars on sky sports news, also had afolabi at 10, I wasn't aware he had stepped up

speaking of rankings i am going to re-start the ESB Brit forum british rankings.

would you guys rather see a general top 10 that includes all fighters....or a british title rankings where the like of Haye and Burns are not included???

Its your call Rob but IMHO you should rank all the eligible fighters in a division including the world champions. You rankings arn't getting used to decide who should get British title shots or eliminators so theres no reason to exclude fighters who are beyond British level.

Just rank 'em all and let the reader decide the likelyhood of which fighters would be interested in a British title.

Absolute joke for Sky to try and help sell Audley as a genuine contender. Audley at 3 is bad enough but Sprott at 4 just to claim it was a great win for Harrison brilliant!
